2015 Ford Explorer Blend Door Fix

Same motor will work for both sides and the recirc vent.
watched a youtube video on how to do this and it wasn't accurate. the correct motor is hard to get to. had to use a universal on a 1/4" extension to reach it good.

I have already replaced the blend door actuator. Worked for a while but now my car has no heat. Could it be the first actuator you showed has gone bad?

I have the exact opposite issue. Blowing frigid air on passenger side, but normal heat on the left side. Which side do I replace the blend actuator?

Don't know if you've gotten this fixed yet or not, but the motor on the left he replaced is what handles the hot/cold for your vents. The motor on the front/facing you is for something else.

How do you actually replace the part?, because I can't get to the second screw

I had to use a long 1/4" extension and a swivel at the socket

It's a pain but will come out with extension and swivel socket like fix fab said
