the whole place really should be a museum. no real purpose for it today, but yeah, I agree. If they take it apart and move it, its kind of like cutting the state of liberty apart and putting in a museum.

I remember watching from Northglenn, CO (suburb of Denver) on our Color Curtis Mathis 25" TV - the images were B&W and remember we kept waiting and waiting and waiting for the Astronauts to walk on the Moon. When the Astronauts finally appeared, walked on the Moon and did all running around on the Moon, I walked out our Front Door don't remember the time, definately NIGHT - DARK (looked toward the East, looked at the Moon) and knew there were 2 Men on the Moon and one orbiting. I will never forget that night, Ever!!! I am so proud to be an American and America was #1 in the world on that date. I am so glad that I looked at the Moon that night, I wish others did the same thing. God Bless America

Thank you to all who worked or have worked on the space program. Fifty years ago, I watched the moon landing with amazement. Before and after that, I saw other successful missions, and tragedies that took people's lives. Thank you to all who dedicated your lives, risked your lives, and lost your lives. Your work will contribute to our survival, especially if we don't get it together to stop trashing planet Earth.

Allegedly, the people in 1960 thought for example the post covid world of 2023 couldn't believe in ALIENS without revolting. Wonder what they thought of the hippie movement, 1960s riots, or the 2020 riots?

I remember watching this as a kid in 1969 and being puzzled why I could see horizon THRU Armstrong. I wanted to believe, but thru the years, it does indeed seem it was a sham (the Apollo 11 at least) if not all. From the bizarre launch of the LM from the moon, to the lack of stars anywhere, to the radiation belts but the totally unaffected electronics or film in cameras, just doesn't hold up. I hope Elon Musk proves me wrong.
