It was a pleasant surprise to hear you speak the different languages, and with a very good accent I must add. Languages (and an open mind) are the door to cultures, no wonder you feel so comfortable there. Thank you for this video Mr. Brown.

Hi Bud, sorry to hear about Betsye, but she tried. I think it's easier for a man than a woman to move to PF. First of all there is the thing that it's easier for an older guy to find a woman that an older woman to find a guy. Many guys have already contact with a woman before they come, so they have already some social contact with her friends and her family. If u move to PF and not meet anyone, It can be lonely as every where else, and in a new country it can be more difficult because u don't know any and no help if u get into trouble or it's hard to find out how things work. The best to Betsye, and be proud, u tried a dream, it did not work for u, but it's better to try instead of stay home and just dream.

Yes mr brown the Philippines. Is not for everyone. As for me I really truly love here so much. It works for me. I spent along time in places I didn't like. So that is why I come here and met the woman of my dreams. You. sometimes you feel alone and you want to talk with other forgeneris and some you just can't intracr with them. I notice. That. You take trips without Gloria. That is hard for me to take a trip without Vilma coz were so attached to each other. It's not that you don't trust. Each other. . It's being in the presences of each other for so long. And then you have to part for a little while. I understand it gives each other breathing room. But. It takes a lot out of you. Coz you love them so much. And if anything would happen to them. It would tear you apart. Coz their part of you. Your whole world. Is them. God bless always and peace to all.

At least she tried. But maybe a little late in life to start taking that adventure. So that mist have been very hard. It was hard for me and I was only 45 at the time. There are so many things you must learn. And part of the learning is to learn how you personally react to stress and how you respond to being ripped off so many times. It does wear down a person's ability to keep calm and thinking good. But I had help from my Filipino wife. That helped a lot to get a better understanding of what and why things are so different from where you come from. Such as when I bought my scooter. I was expecting to get a title to it. I thought they was messing with me. But no. There is no such thing as a vehicle title in PH. It just does not work that way. So yes things get frustrating. And then you try to do the right and legal thing and go get a drivers license only to discover it can take years to get many times. And sometimes it only takes 1 hour. It's just the way things work in PH.

For me, comments like yours and you tube videos were a great help before I ever came to the Philippines.
The first time I saw Hyper Mart on Bud's video I thought is was as big as a Super Size Walmart. But after getting to Dumaguete I find out it was smaller than the local K-Mart where my brother lives. Surprise!! Surprise!! And like you, yes my wife Thankfully has been the one to help me adjust to the Filipino way of life.

Enjoy your videos, but I don't know if you had too much sugar before recording or you suffer from ADHD as your mind was all over the place...haha...This video should come with a handle so you can hold on through it.
