Need correction in the video on the speed of the Schiller Water Bike where the speaker says 10 meters per hour. LOL! It was misread as the Schiller site says the water bike has "a 1:7.5 gear ratio, riders experience a high degree of thrust of the line and reach speeds of over 10 mph /16 kph cycling across the water."

I would love to see a longer video about the Varialift Airship Concept! It reminds me of the Thunderbirds show I used to watch as a kid.
I have to mention this, on the presentation of the water bike Shiller, the speaker states that the bike can reach speeds of 10 meters per hours. I think thast`s a mistake in the editing. Think how long can take to cover 10 meters for a swimmer in a body of water, even swimming at very low pace, 10 meters are covered in a handful of seconds. 10 meters per hours is the avarage speed of a snail.

You know what's the problem with all those fancy gadgets? The price tag. For 20K I will buy a 3-y.o. Wolkswagen Touran, no brainer, diesel-powered manual transmission. And, it can drive like 600 miles on one tank, it can take 7 people or 1 tonn of payload, you can practically live in it.

Electric vehicles are nasty. The lithium batteries are many thousands to replace and I have seen that the lithium is mined by CHILDREN (because they are the only ones small enough to fit into the holes where it is mined) and destroys their lungs.

All of these will never come to reality. They are all non sense vehicles and even if some of them be out they'll be ridiculously expensive. Monowheel ? ha ha ha , it's the most stupid invention ever created - two/four wheels will do the job perfectly. Reliability is the direction it should be going to. Amen.

Do most of the things they're touting in the Triggo piece, in America, you'll be arrested and your vehicle, impounded. Travel between cars? park between parallel-parked cars. With the latter, you're libel to be shot! What a stupid vehicle!
The monotrac looks like fun - but not at highway speeds. I'd hate to think what your leg is going to look like in a highway spill. The track is going to be still spinning at highway speed as it eats your leg in two.
I cant comment on the electric skateboard, as I don't use skateboards. I've also been harassed by irresponsible skateboarders.
I love the design of the three wheeled car that comes next - only one downside: its electric. Ultimately, electric vehicles are a boondoggle. You have to consider how long it takes to charge them, the fact it's more expensive than gas-powered engines, what creates the power its charged with (gas/oil/coal/nuclear - wind is not a real part of the grid and kills migrating winged animals and hydropower is rare and under attack for changing river ecology) I'll NEVER buy electric as they are currently designed. Oh! And they catch on fire and burn practically like magnesium powder! Don't get them wet, but don't keep them in a garage... and if it gets cold, they will fail to hold a charge and you will die horribly from exposure when your heat fails, too.
The speed bike is kind cool, but impractical for everyday use as you seem to need a team to stabilize it as you get up to speed and to stop it.
skates are cute but also impractical.
the unicycle is a Darwin Award, waiting to happen.

The zuum shoes aren't bad either. They don't pretend to be the next moped - which wasn't that great an idea, either.
I like the concept of the flight board. I despise, across the board, Lithium-Ion batteries. Not only are they prone to burning, they slave labor where most of this stuff comes from, should not be encouraged. You also better start from a boat with this thing, as it does not look like is can deal with shallows.
I consider Loomo dumb and a waste of time. It's a "buy a companion" theme. Is it internet enabled? Then its a spy on you, as well.
Poimo is just... disappointing. I've had to inflate/deflate a lot of things in my life, and it is never as easy as it looks. Or, if you spring a leak, is it simple and easy to repair. Just... No...

Zetazas off road skate board. Nothing against it. not my thing. Might be an alternative to mountain biking, though I don't know if its capable enough for those kinds of stunts. Personally, the addition of electric seems like a cheat, though.
Varialift: Airships have one big problem... they have huge cross-sections and cannot function safely if there are high winds. Your biggest problem with any aircraft is landing - to take on fuel, food, water, cargo and passengers. They are NEVER as easy to use as people make them sound. NEVER. And if you are using them in the military, they make wonderful targets.
