Their guitar might be their best friend. And, rock and blues might run their blood stream. But, their oomph is their signature style. So, what makes northeast India's in- your-face approach to fashion and off-beat style stand out?
With the ladies already leading the pack, I analyse the male contribution (if any) - are they doing enough? And, more importantly, are they doing it right? Should men's clothing from the region be taken into consideration if I say that Northeast India is the nation's most fashionable region?
To begin with let's get our geography right. Yes, Northeast India is in India. And, you don't need a passport to get there. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya. There are a lot of misconceptions giving rise to a lot of silly questions.

Sardarjis checklist should be corrected replacing siliguri with other parts of NE, as siliguri doesn't falls under NE...its in West Bengal, but if u want to visit sikkim only then u have to go via siliguri though sikkim is geographically not a contiguous part of the peripheral northeast region

You will certainly be surprised. The problem here is ignorance. Such individuals who unfortunately are in the majority when faced with someone having mongoloid features, the first name that comes to their mind is “Nepali” followed by “Chinese”. Proper Education seems to be the main issue here. Things are changing rapidly because of the internet but it’s a long way before this thing completely stops.

Moreover it maybe a lack of knowledge in sme case bt in this incident it was neither misinformation nor them being uneducated about their own country. They clearly know our state is indeed in India. They made fun of our culture and called us 'Junglee' which is sorry but not a case of misinformation. A lot of times these cases of clear racism are tagged as people being misinformed but as much as I agree not everyone is the same a lot of people are jst racist and not misinformed.

aparts from Lifestyle fashion and other stuff I believe that this discrimination thing is something happening right now in India mostly on north east ppl,must stop as a Indian we must strive to stop any such discrimination happening to our fellow citizens!

Rarely some eats dogs in 1,2 states in northeast but not all northeastern states...I am pure vegetarian n my mom n dad only eat chicken n fish ...cz we hindu don't eat beef an all also
