I am a Filipina, and I used to be a teacher in Thailand. I met my American husband, and he sent a petition for me. Then l applied for a fiancée visa in Bangkok...did all the requirements, medical tests, and interviews at the US embassy, then l received my visa after 6 months. I have lived here in the US for 14 yrs now.

    There’s always next time Reche
Pointers next time you go to interview
    1) have a job - consul will not let you travel to the USA without a job (even if you are married/ dating Americans), consul are worried that you may not come back to Philippines due to no job to come back to
2)Name your family bakery under your name and file business 2022 taxes under your name another reason that your are coming back
    3) ask viewers from this channel to subscribe to your personal channel so you will be monetized and upload some videos
What consul is looking for is that the tourist coming to the USA are coming back to the country they came from , have all these 3 done and there is no reason for consul to deny you visiting. The beautiful USA
(I somebody has to do these steps, except vlogging just to visit America.
Comment back if or anybody if you have any questions

It doesn't matter your citizenship or the country you are trying to enter. Telling an immigration officer you Do Not Have a Job is an instant red flag that can get you denied unless your immediate next statement is something like "I do not have a job because I won the lottery" or something else like you just inherited a Trust Fund, etc. All the Officers will hear is that you are unemployed and want to steal one of their country's precious jobs!
And in Reches case she needs a job that pays enough for her to afford travel to the States. A Bakery job that earns a 1000 pesos a day will not get one too far.

  • @anniesoucek8216
    @anniesoucek8216 Před rokem +3

First thing to do when bringing a Filipina to USA is to call the US Immigration and asked how to bring a Filipina to USA. Then asked to send you the application forms. Fill up the forms and send it back to the US immigration with a check for the payments.
The US immigration has to qualify the petitioner first, first thing and foremost. The petitioner has to prove to the US immigration that he can afford to support the person he's bringing to USA. That he is single, no criminal records, has a job, has a bank account, property and tax returns. (Please note) that if you don't have enough income to support the person you're bringing in, your parents or siblings can provide an affidavit of support.
When the immigration approved the petitioner's petition, the US immigration will notify the person named in the petition along with the requirements and schedules for medical tests and interviews.
You just can't walk in, in the US immigration to asked for a visa without a petition. Believe me, I'm a Filipina in USA. I come here 35 years ago on a fiance visa. Then on 2015 I had to petition my second husband who's been here in USA illegally for 19 years with an arrest record for domestic violence. I processed his papers by myself, without a lawyer. I come to United States and become a citizen all by myself. No help. Not even to get an NBI record in the Philippines when my very own brother was the head of the NBI record department. I'm very independent woman.
I think the fees to file a petition now is close to $5,000 dollars. I heard it's much easier and faster now with Biden as the US President. You can do it without a lawyer or immigration agent. Just know how to fill up the forms.

From personal experience, my guess is that Reche's application was denied because she quit her job. It's a big red flag for immigration. I am married to a Filipina. Her 1st application to visit the UK was denied, (we had both not long finished employment contracts) so we reapplied a month later and it was successful. After more than 10 years of marriage and living in the UK, we applied for my grown up stepdaughter to come from PHL and visit us in the UK. For some reason my wife told my stepdaughter to quit her job and her visit visa was denied TWICE. I totally feel your pain in this whole situation and everything that you're going through, including the financial heartache. The only sure fire way to get round this problem is to get married in PHL and apply for a marriage visa to travel to the US (together). Dustin must not travel ahead. I know we are talking about the US in your predicament (and not the UK) but immigration has similar guidelines and red flags all over the world. If Reche wants to go to the US on a visit visa, she will need a steady job and a letter from her employer stating that the position will be held open for her to return to after the trip to the US. My guess is that's why the interviewer only asked 3 questions.

Anyone who applies for a tourist interview are always treated to be a potential TNT.
1.) An applicant has to show proof that he/she has the "economic ties"(a permanent job or a legit business with sufficient income to support your travel). The consulate can ask for your job credentials(employment certificate with an approved leave for your travel) or business credentials. This will show that you still have a business to operate to or a job when you come back. A proof that you can afford your travel. Though it is understood by the embassy that we Filipinos will stay with friends and relatives while in the US. We just need to show that we can afford to pay our airline tickets, land transfers and enough cash on hand for the duration of your stay. At least 50% of the total estimated cost of your travel.
2.) Family ties is also helpful. Having a good family connection with your own immediate family is a good indication that you are close to each other and that you will be missing them if you are away from home.
3.) Avoid declaring in your application that you are intending to stay long. A good number of days will be 2 weeks to 1month. Always be guided by your approved number of days of leave from your job if you are working. Stating a longer stay can tend to indicate that you love to be in the US thus making you a probable tnt. Forget at the moment about the many places you wish to visit in the USA. Stick with what you can afford and allowed with your leave from work.
4.) In the interview, never give too many answers or give too many details as this can be used by the consul to ask for more details. And this is where you will start and tend to make mistakes and can be misunderstood. Be direct with your answers.
5.) During the online application process. Always be truthful with what you answer and always be guided that you are not planning to overstay so be careful with what you write as some questions can be tricky and this will show your real intent of travel.
6.) Don't forget to get a screen shots of everything what you have written in your application as you need to study them and remember what you wrote. Your pointers for the interview will be what you state in your application.
7.) Don't expect that the documents you are bringing with you will be read(COE, bank statements, ITR etc). But always be ready just in case they will ask for it.
8.) Always remember that they have the lead time from the date of your application and the date of your interview. Meaning they have plenty of time to investigate of who you really are. And be wary also with what you post on your social media account because these can reveal your personality whether good or bad.
9.) Pray for favor from God. If its His will for you to travel, then no one can stop you.
    Then go with God.

i think people have already said it in here. basically US immigration has come to the conclusion reche has no job, business, property or any any kind of assets to comeback to once she's in the US. and contrary to popular belief. the majority of illegal immigrants coming in the US since the 2000's is from visa overstays and not from crossing the mexican border. and the philippines is in the top 5 list of countries immigrants are coming from together with mexico, china and india. so US immigration is very strict handing out visas to these specific countries.

I think the moment you mentioned you are no longer employed, that's when the red flag went up. If they ask whats the purpose of your trip to USA say you're going to a relative's wedding. You need to be employed, just so you can have a letterhead available stating you are currently employed. A bank statement and a lot of confidence in yourself.

I watched the video and Reche failed miserably on the 3 questions that the consul asked her. Please review the video and you should have an idea why the consul handed you 214(b). The line was not that long so the embassy was able to interview everyone who showed up. The consul was an older lady who seemed unfamiliar with assistantship offers from universities to graduate students. But at the same time she couldn’t deny my application because my papers came from the university, which meant they were authentic. As I left the room, I made a show of stuffing that precious claim number in the Manila envelope I had with me for when I had to pick up my passport with the visa stamp later that day. That was several decades ago but it still feels like yesterday. 😁 🇺🇸

It is my understanding after researching, applying, and getting a K-1 visa for my now wife that the infamous Tourist visa to the USA is virtually impossible to get. Reserved strictly for more well off, business owning, or high paying job having Filipino. I see both sides of this. The agent has to have, without a shadow of doubt, that the Filipino is guaranteed to return. There are many Filipinos who want to visit their future family but cannot get a tourist visa which is sad. Somewhere along history the tourist visa was abused and ruined it for future possible visitors. My own personal opinion would be not to try again, but everyone has to make their own decision. Hopefully, sometime in the future, there will be a different visa that you will be applying for. ;)

It is tough and hard to get a visa and passport to take a province girl to travel from the Philippines to the U.S. or Europe or even Australia, Canada, maybe travel to Asia only it is easier. A U.S. citizen can sponsor a Filipino citizen. Immigration is strict now.. I am a U.S. citizen my girlfriend also lives in Cebu. Immigration needs a lot of requirements and documents, and the interviewers are not easy on you. It will cost you lots of money and more headache.

LOL US immigration isnt strict anymore. It is welcoming illegal immigrants with a red carpet and transportation and lodging. I believe they also get free cellphones and been told once by one of them they are given a card with 2500 cash. One of the processing center is in my city and they are walking around shopping at the mall and restaurants like they are tourist or people with money

The fastest to bring Reche's in the USA is to get a fiance visa and you need to get married within 3 months. And you need to file here in USA. When your application was process. They will message her by embassy and also they sending all the requirements that need to do like medical, need to pay for processing fee and included the date of her interview. Don't get married in the Philippines they will denied it. She need to be single upon entry here in the USA. Immigration can check to NSA of her status.

You can hire a lawyer just like what my husband (fiancee then) did for my K1 visa. The lawyer took 3 - 4 months before he can get me an interview in Manila. Or you can try applying for it. Then if she goes for the interview, make sure that she got photos of you together, correspondence between you like letters/cards in addition to what paperwork you mentioned in the video. Reche's job/employment history does not matter. An engagement ring will help too.
Remember on K1 visa, she can't leave the US without a special pass to re-enter. The lawyer can take care of this too and so does the application for a green card. Good luck.

Dustin, you should have used a service like Filipina Visa or Rapid Visa, they would of informed you. I brought my wife, via the fiancé Visa program, it took me 12 months. The advisors told me a tourist Visa is only given to old females, non child bearing, with property and money in the bank, like $ 5k. You also have to show you can financially support the woman, in case she gets sick. You have to sign a Affidavit of Support, if you don’t have a steady job, then your parents can sign for her. When I asked the visa advisors about it( the tourist visa)they told me…you know how hard it is to get one…it’s almost like winning the lottery…and that is why they are crossing the US border….You have to provide proof of relationship…which you have via your CZcams videos. You can also opt to marry, which takes longer to petition, but the advantage is her green card and Social Security card will be waiting for her when she arrives, Rapid Visa can help, they know all the ropes ! Good luck !
    Sid

Aaaww I feel so bad for the two of you but on the positive side better luck next time! You need to find fillapinas out there who have been through the same process, check their questions and answers. Anyone that has finally got through the interview, what did they say. what were they asked etc there must be someone out there who was allowed access to the USA. Also ask peoples is it always the same three questions, if it then then you must have to elaborate more with your answers. It is a shame they don't tell you why you were denied. Oh well, until the next time, make the most of your time together now and we can all cross our fingers for you both!

The whole fiance visa for US immigration is a royal pain in the ass. The back logs are huge and they are not getting caught up. California service center just increased from 15.5 months to now 16.5 months. I saw an immigration attorney this week. She said come back in September 2023. My NOA1 was January 3, 2023. The attorney said if case has not progressed to NVC, by September, she would file a request to Omaha Nebraska service center. Right now Omaha is in a 4.5 month backlog. Go figure, my application went to California.

Hi Dustin, You are up against the US bureaucracy. If you are not married to her it will be almost impossible for her to get a Tourist Visa. If she were a celebrity, or business person not a problem. The want to see that there will be a strong draw/reason for her to leave the US and return home. Her having a Bank account, property such as a house, savings all things that would be a draw for her to come back to the PI. I know these things because of a personal connection. It can be done but as you alluded to it will be long expensive and the outcome would still not be guaranteed. Best wishes

There are many private immigration companies in the Philippines as I’ve used one to bring my partner to Australia.
It only took 3 weeks to be approved as there’s no medical no big money to pay just return airline ticket and small fee to agent plus the cost of the visa which is for 3 months which you can extend once your in the USA.
      Hope this helps.
