Best NYE headline act on the BBC for many years! And somebody fresh, original still young, and enthusiastic. Sam Ryder was on fire! We need more of him live he's far too good to be known as only 'the spaceman singer' from Eurovision.

One thing I enjoyed about his overall performance were his ad libs mid song eg "this is my favourite bit!" Takes a lot of confidence to do that without being put off your stride so to speak
