Taj Mahal is the most overrated place in India. Most beautiful places in India are Ladakh, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Coorg, Shillong, Shimla, etc.
You can't avoid the beauty of Tajmahal too.... The name you have mentioned here is also beautiful, Palakkad Kerala and their beautiful mountainous villages are also beautiful, there are lot of beautiful places in India, covering all those are not really hard.... How can u forget North East specially Loktak lake of Manipur....

Taj Mahal is quite intriguing place. It has its own egronomics with the placement to be seen from the far palace, the echo goes from one side to another and so does the air, as much as you feel cold even in summer, the marbles were imported so were the flowers, there are some hidden chambers there and nobody knows whats in it.
U can visit south India u can see variety of different foods temples heritage and culture especially Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Hyderabad it's amazing Kerala, munnar, kochi, wayanad, Ooty, coimbatore, manglore, Gokarna, Coorg, Bangalore, Mysore, Alleppey, Udupi, Chennai, Karnataka, Kodaikanal

It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.its open Zone, one did not need a trekking permit or have to pay Royalty fee to climbed this Mountain tower

until 1857 taj mahal used to be studded with diamonds and many precious stones looked even prettier before those were looted during the British rule. top spire of taj mahal used to be all gold, it got looted and replaced with a brass one. indian style fruit and flower gardens were cut and british lawns were grown.
Lol the diamonds on Taj were themselves looted from Hindu temples by Mughal invaders. British just stole from other theives.

The Taj, for me, is the most amazing building in the world but you really missed out by not paying a few rupees for a guide. Our guide was amazing and made the experience 100% better than just walking around. To learn about every intricacy and the history was fascinating. If nayone on here is going, please pay for a guide! You won't regret those few extra dollars you spend
