There are countless sweet, sincere, beautiful women in that 55 -70+ years age range right here in U.S. who would have been happy to have him as a companion/husband. His mistake was being stuck on looks. He wanted someone fresh and new instead of a true life partner to share his final years with. If he wanted an equal (which is apparently what he had with his first wife) he would have been looking at the local senior center instead the international twenty-something dating scene (basically dating his granddaughter). There are "mail order brides" in there 40's and 50's on these websites. I watched a documentary of a man in his fifties going to columbia to find a significant other through these websites and on tours and he ended up falling in love with a woman a couple years younger than him.
