I'm mostly in sync with Mr. Gupta's views and admire his unbiased opinions. But one thing I contest is his neoliberal economic ideology. And that's the beauty of difference of opinion. If channeled in healthy way, it can do a lot of good.

This video is a joke. If you read between the lines, it is like telling, the wealth was looted and people were murdered, but the "Good News is that We know how did it; But don't expect us to indict the perpetrator!!" The only silver lining is IBC, that only ensured that promoters don't game the system to get control of their beleaguered company. Unfortunately, sir, none of the cases you mentioned is a success story contributing to Indian economy's vital stats - GDP growth, Employment, Exports, etc. However, that does not mean there are no good news. TCS was briefly in the $100 billion club (in market cap). Reliance managed to pare its debt and secure $150M investment. Last, but not the least is the strong rally of the stock markets. Despite the scandals and companies turning turtle, India Inc. is scaling newer heights and that's something to cheer about. I don't agree that sale of BPCL is a "good news". It is one of the worst decisions. Privatization is indeed required. But better wisdom should have prevailed. While it is sane to sell your asset when it is doing good, it is imprudent to get rid of an asset which is yet to reach its peak - the government just denied itself stellar profits for the future. Anyways, Happy New Year and hope better sense prevails with Modi & Co. and they don't become economists and do something stupid like Demonetization again !!
