Riolu is a meme at this point. I mean Hefest is a meme aswell, but at least he's not 💀*DEAD*💀
Or a cheater
why is hefest a meme?

But then, Hefest got this run
Would actually love to see content where you try to beat world records at half speed
Yeah, he already did a TASing vid, I'd love to see a half speed vid
lmfao
I think Riolu's channel is still up. He's got a whole playlist of this
Hey wirtual tmx is back online! You can put your tmnf D13 wr on the leaderboards!
Also his E10 wr
Poggers
@@jakub17h yeah that E-10 run was cracked, I don't think SlurbonTM will beat it anytime soon
@@DeamLinX yeah slurbon is a really strong player, but I think you have to look out for slawbunniesTM. Relatively new player slowly creeping up on the leaderboards.
This is what I got in my monthly checkup if there's anything new about riolu
riolu is basically the voldemort of trackmania
So he will return?
@@xongi9248 we need the Peter Pettigrew of Trackmania for that :D
i dunno riolu was really good at the game. if he actually admited his mistake instead of attacking wirtual for exposing him he maybe didnt have to vanish completely from tm community
I feel he still would have vanished, as he cheated for 10 years straight, but if he had apologized and left without attacking Wirtual maybe people wouldn't hate him that much
@@cubox1696 yeah i mean it wouldve been really rough for him which is good. what he did was really bad but everybody makes mistakes. he would be definitely banned from competetive and from leaderboards but maybe he could still make some content i dunno or maybe youre right and the pressure would be too big from the community. we would never know 100% because in the end the biggest mistake you can make is to not admit youre wrong, not talk about your mistakes and give up on finding some solution. even if the solution isnt there you can atleast walk away with some dignity left as youre saying.
@@cubox1696 exactly. I really enjoyed his content but he went out of his way to make Wirtual look bad. If he just came out and apologized it would’ve been much better for him. He was still really good at the game if you watch his live COTD runs he clearly has the skill
@@cubox1696 His cheating increased dramatically around the years he starting streaming, I wouldn't be surprised if it was done on purpose as advertising for his streams.
He just had to own up to it, he's in the top 10 TM players and had an established following, he would have lost a lot of viewers but his channel would've survived, even if it means he has to find another job. He certainly knew this would eventually happen and still took the coward's way out.
Through Wirtuals documentary like videos I discovered Trackmania, but most of the time I liked watching Riolus Cup of the Day videos.. Too bad he took every wrong turn he could have taken.. But at least he got the TrackManiaWR for the biggest and fastest fall - lol
actually took me a second to get the joke, but i guess you can say, it took others half the time to get it 😏
Can someone tell me the name of this map pls?
from what video?
how riolu plays tm:
SPAMMING THE FUCK OUT OF THE STEER KEYS IN COAST
I don't understand why people don't just switch to using a wheel in coast. It's designed to play like a sim anyway
Naaa he did not💀💀💀
But then, Hefest got this run
Hey guys,
This channel is managed by someone else first off, so I wouldn’t bash Wirtual himself.
In general, this shouldn’t be bashed at all. riolu made everyone else a clown for years, even getting his antics into Turbo... it’s fine if he’s the clown for 31s.
I think everyone agrees that he seems like a chill guy and a great content creator, he just made some bad decisions. If he came back with an apology and made more content again, hell I’d support him.
I never knew much about him, but it's a pity he gave up on everything and his career for such a stupid reason. I feel like he threw it by acting like a jerk and not being chill at all, added to the cheating scandal..
yup, poor riolu
@@lux6485 Yuup, pooor fucking cheater…
@@unlocktornado He was kicked from TMGL I believe, and the inevitable loss of viewers would have impacted his ability to earn from trackmania, so I don't he had much choice but to step back.
@@galois6569 He might be pretty much still earning from his published videos I believe. Mainly views from people demanding a response from him probably.
I really believe he could have chose a path where he wouldn't lose much
hahahaha, this came outta left field.
it's a bit sad to be honest but I hope riolu takes it with a grain of humor
he lost his entire career because of it, so I doubt it
Riolu's 40% ok with the memes.

Yikes
HAHAHAHA perfect clip
Hahahaha savage
damn, still so many salty Riolu stans in the comments. Let it go already!
the thing I've realised about riolu stans is that 90% of them don't even play the game.
who else checked their playback speed?
I changed mine. I'd hoped that setting it to 2x would put everything back to normal speed and I could understand him again.
Crazy how many fans defend his cheating in the comment and replies. I guessing they don’t have a very strong moral code either to be able to justify anything he did
kind of beating a dead horse at this point
yeah but its always funny. especially for the comments like: "haha, riolu bad"
Wirt is allowed to make 1x riolu joke every 3rd month. Hardly beating a dead horse considering he flat out refused to talk about it for a good while at all and had the !riolu command to link to his twitlonger.
I think its time to stop beating that dead horse.
do you even play tm?
this video aint it chief
Game designers have a choice to make about how data is encrypted. It's a process but always doable to make it so players can't alter the intended experience.
For single player games I'm all about making things in a way that players can modify the data. In this case riolu went and did that which is fine, the damning part is then he uploaded his times and the part that is probably the worst is he in doing so took the accolades from legitimate times all those years.
What confuses me is why it was caught by other players, modified data is simple to identify especially if you have a game that already tracks runtime inputs on uploads... eh, it's a sad story regardless. Also what's with Wirtual and making these off color jokes, first the Queen and now this. X_X
This has nothing to do with encryption and no, it's impossible to prevent someone from altering your program. There's always a way.
You show no idea about how trackmania (a game from 2007!!!) stores inputs and replays.
The obviously cheated data was always there and able to be identified, yes. However because people didn't ever really consider cheating in Trackmania a thing until more recently, they had no reason to make a program to analyze the data until then. There was the same problem in CS:GO somewhat recently with the coaching bug which was eventually found it be abused/abusable for years despite being identifyable with the right tools, but since it wasn't a consideration for the longest time there was no reason to even think about detecting earlier, as you can't actively try and detect something you don't know exists, whether it be on a developer or spectator level.
@@geccome yes it does, if the game encrypted was data like TM2020 does he wouldn't have been able to pull off these cheats so easily, he started cheating when he was 15
@@geccome My understanding, which was published by Wirtual is that the data for inputs that identified cheaters like riolu was collected from the world records. That means the software was already collecting that information.
What was used was something to simulate the inputs so as to identify a pattern of inputs that a humans were incapable of. ~The End.
Come on......why go to this low level? This is not what we want to see....
?
Just let this stuff die out please, it's happened but don't keep on bringing it up.. It's beating a dead horse
How low can you go for content? This is shameful

found it hilarious.
Riolu is cracked. Anyone who’s hating on a really good player that felt pressured to be the best doesn’t know what it’s like to be at the top anyway. Mistakes happen. Especially in trackmania. We learn from them and get better. I’m assuming Riolu did too.
Mistakes happen. Once. Twice. Not multiple times over and over and over and over. Literally multiple years and years of cheated runs. That’s not a mistake buddy. Drink more copium
Once, twice, 5 times, sure. 530 times, and I'm not so keen to forgive and forget.
that's a hell of a long mistake my man. Do you even know what the f you're saying ?
You probably discovered tm because of wirtual, and that's where you're starting to get all confident here and there. You probably think it didn't hurt anybody, you probably think cheating in tm is fine. I haven't been playing along with the community for around 10 years for a dumbass to say "oOoooOOo look he only cheated a few times let it go already", that's fucked up.
@@DrDrao it was like well over double the largest of those numbers lmfao
he still continues to surf on this buzz him, pathetic
It’s just jokes, A lot of video games that have a cheating scandal have the community create jokes about it. Just as an example, everyone mentions word.exe in counter strike when they think someone is cheating because a player at a tournament was caught cheating and named the folder storing the cheats “word.exe”
Making fun of cheaters is always fun.
