Honestly, when we don’t like how we look it can affect the way that we function even in our work or relationships. Thank you for being human, and being honest with us, and showing us that we can change if we really want to! 💗
One thing I dislike about how people treat you when you are eating clean is the pressure to eat something that you simply decline to eat because of it. I work in an office setting so there’s a lot of people who constantly bring donuts and other unhealthy things to share with coworkers which is nice of them but unhealthy. I can’t tell you how many times I have to politely decline these snacks and the pushback I get is ridiculous. “Cmon just one” 🙄. Then it goes back to how you mentioned people saying “oh you’re on a diet”. Why can’t it simply be that I just don’t want to eat the donut lol
Facts!! I work in a place where 90% are over weight I decided 5yrs ago to get on healthy lifestyle not diet. No gym lost my 40lbs just mela Prepping working out form my home No childcare no excuses!! but dealing with the negativity and the you look too “skinny” and one bite won’t make you “fatter” Is about being focus and deSicpline and yes my cheat meal was 1 a week not a cheat day there’s a huge difference, You just got brush it off and keep doing you, here I am still down 40lbs & maintaining! Let’s not even bring up the Spanish culture “omg you don’t eat Spanish rice” 🙈🤣🤦🏻♀️
This is exactly why I lied and told them I don’t like sweets bc then they won’t insist. I have the biggest sweet tooth and it’s hard for me to say no, so I knew if they thought I didn’t like sweets then they wouldn’t offer them 😊
Health awareness is so important now more than ever! The pandemic showed us the importance of taking care of ourselves... prioritizing our mental health as well. Fitness and self care go hand in hand. We are all in this together ❤ Sebas! You look amazing and congrats on your progress!

Sebas, I applaud you and your new lifestyle change. This motivate me and my boyfriend to change ours as well. No shame to helping our wellbeing and mental health. From 2020 to August 2021, I was not happy with the way I looked. I gained weight from transitioning from the office to working remotely, order so much take out, eating whatever, snacking a lot, wearing oversized clothes cause I was home all the time until I had enough if it. It definitely affected my relationship. Since August 10th, I’ve lost 25 pounds and I feel like I’m glowing 🤩 I definitely needed to focus on me and cut the bad food and alcohol. I feel like the girl I knew in 2018/2019. I’m hoping to lose 20 more pounds.
I just had my 3rd and last baby 4 months ago and I am now ready to get focused and cut all the baby weight I have gained over the years and focus on my health so this is a podcast that was much needed! So much great info!

I recently started my healthy life style journey and I’ve never noticed there’s very little healthy options to eat out 😭 so eating at home is always the best , can’t believe I didn’t open my eyes earlier , it’s given me more energy , clear skin , etc
I’m going to be honest, this made me tear up. I’ve struggled my whole life with my weight because of my mindset and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to start my journey. I’d go through a few days and immediately give in and go back to what I’ve been doing. It’s affected the way I think and how I go about my life. This really gave me a wake up call. I’m glad Andre shared so much information, information I didn’t realize goes into one’s health.
Congratulations Sebas! Mind, body, soul transformation! So much knowledge shared I would love to hear more from Andre. I am recovering from a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and trying to get more educated on how nutrition and exercise can help with my recovery. Any specific tips you have for the brain would be very much appreciated! I am still suffering from cognitive fatigue and so it has been hard to get back to my “normal” active self.
Coming from a Mexican family. None of this was taught to me or my siblings. I started my fitness journey about 5 years ago. I was not happy mentally and physically and noticed I was becoming very heavily over weight. Of course, it has fluctuated as I learned the good and the bad but I feel like I’m finally at a good place. I feel like it’s so sad that us going to the gym and eating cleaner means we’re on a “ diet “ or somethings wrong. Especially when we have so many health issues running in the family. I am in love with fitness and I stay schooling my family about nutrition 🙌🏻… they think I’m annoying but I can see them starting to change their eating habits. Mexicans can be stubborn. They want to have infinite carnitas and live a long healthy life and that’s just not likely. But I’m proud of their progress🥲🤍 now I see my grandparents eating their low fat yogurt with a small amount of granola bc I taught them the amount of sugar granola has
