In Wisconsin, administration and enforcement of Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule was delegated to the state's Department of Health Services (DHS). Here, the RRP rule is called the Lead Safe Renovator rule. To help contractors better understand what is required of them in following the LSR rule, DHS produced this series of educational videos.
This particular video shows minimum work practice expectations when completing an exterior remodeling job in target housing or a child-occupied facility.

You'd have to decontaminate yourself, leave the work area, & then grab a drink.

Negative air is not a requirement of the RRP or WI's Lead Safe Renovator regulation. Using those items is a great idea! But still not required.
