    hey bob & brad,
I just wanted to say I have been doing shoulder exercises you recommended for months now and my shoulder is now in a perfect condition ! No more pain, no more problems, and no more rounded shoulders.
    2
orthopaedists laughed at me when i told them i seek help at youtube, now i laugh at them because I am recovered (ultrasound confirmed it) despite them denying possibility of it.
    Thank you very much !

I have tmj pain not shoulder. But that doesn't matter. I am so happy to see a success story. This pain crap is awful and I'm just about fed up with it. The only thing that helped me was also a youtube video with stretching excercises and a steroid. That's it so far. If I could suggest anything to someone else going through this stuff I would recommend youtube before anything else. Worst case these docs on here at least get you through and give you hope that it will get better. Congrats and I hope your shoulder is still well.

I was suffering from TMJ pain and lock jaw. It would release for a while then lock up. The exercises worked temporarily but ultimately I believe it was all caused by my impacted wisdom teeth. I had surgery and removed all four teeth at on time. After the surgery I have been pain free and my jaw hasn’t lock up once! I recommend removing them if you still have them, as this could be the cause. Good luck hope things get better.

I do exercises for my neck and jaw, along massage therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic care and I use a fascia blaster to loosen the muscles in the jaw and neck. Make sure to drink a lot of water before and after to take care of toxins being released. I also wear a mandibular brace.

Out of curiosity, does anyone with TMJ have fully formed and healthy wisdom teeth, or does this always (or mostly) occur in people with cavitations after having had their wisdom teeth removed? I'm wondering if bacterial infections in the cavitations (which absolutely exist per Dr. Westin A. Price, Dr. Hal Huggins) could be contributing to this problem.

Ive had TMD since I was 15, before my wisdom teeth grew out. Now I am 21 and have had all of my wisdom teeth removed about a year ago. 3 of my 4 wisdom teeth were fully out at the time of removal, one was partially covered in my gums, but not much. Moreover, Ive never had any cavities/dental carries and my wisdom teeth were removed preventatively (as is standard here in the Netherlands). My TMD stayed pretty persistent during these years, some periods the tension gets worse and my TMD more painful, like now, and my checkups havent indicated infections in the cavitations. Hope this answers your question

♠♠♠Can anyone explain the self-limiting nature of osteoarthritis? I have it on my left tmj and it's reassuring to hear that it has the potential to heal, but I have read many people online who have had arthritis in their jaw joint and ended up getting a TMJ replacement because of how significant the damage was over time. does it limit itself to only certain scenarios / cases? I had a very small open bite due to osteoarthritis, but never had any pain associated with it and have had crepitus for 2-3 years. For more information click here: tinyurl.com/yxp26daw?GerTUs1 > ♣♣♣

She now has trouble chewing because she can't open her mouth very well.
    Would these exercises help her?
Her doctor suggested surgery but I want to help her find a less invasive remedy. TIA

Is accidentally biting the inside of your cheek a sign of TMJ or misaligned/moving teeth ? Or yes to all because I get headaches while I sleep from clenching & grinding too but not always, just when stressed😬 I massage the heck out of my jaw & neck & it helps

anni dee I bite the inside of my cheek & my tongue often because of this (clenching from stress/worry at night). Ask your dentist about a night mouth guard to help alleviate the symptoms. I was told it was TMJ from mine. These exercises should help too. Good luck! 👍🏾

Get a mouth guard for sleep. Do the exercises and don’t clench your jaw. My problems were stress/anxiety related so see a doctor if you think yours is too. I had these problems around your age and I’m 21 now wish I would have started earlier on instead of ignoring it.
