- It has been a long time since this video was due. I always tend to procrastinate when I have to make a long video but I'm proud to say it's finally done. OH MY GAWD. . . You are a god send. I have been looking for the latest tutorials since most the them are from 2yrs ago, and FINALLY know how to lock the controllers to the joints since its really annoying finding the joints like a cat and mouse game.

I'm playing this Vam a several weeks with my VR and this is the next generation for my goose and my hand! Do you know how preserve the adjustments when you replace a character in some scene?
Great tutorial. I keep meaning to do one myself on hair styling. Even though I am officially retired from hair creation myself. At least until 2.0 is released. I have 100+ to choose from on the hub and quite alot of unreleased stuff still to put out. (most of my unreleased stuff is in my screenshots).

Hello, how are things going? I'm creating a new ero game using renpy, for the characters and animations I use hs2 but I have a question about vam.
Is it better to use VAM for animations or is it preferable to complete the game only in hs2? I don't even know if I can export the animations I make in vam and use them in renpy.

At the moment, i am kind of the main guy making poses for the illusion community. I am wondering if there is a market for such work in vam?
There are some nice pose packs, it's always appreciated to get new ones. Not sure if some can money with them but there are people who enjoy them
I have a question. If I have downloaded a scene and want to change the appearance of the character that appears there, how to do it? Where can I find a tutorial on how to modify existing characters that appear in ready-made scenes? I will be grateful for your answers
You can change any character's appearance by going into the ''appearance presets'' tab then load the character you want to replace it with from there.
Hey can you tell me which PC specs do you use for VAM . I want to build a gaming pc myself but quite unsure of what specs to go for if you tell me it would be a huge help?
3070 rtx. Gpu will be the real important factor to consider. Anything over that would be great to run it

i haven't tried this one.. but.. how you do the character creation? is it based on a template or you can create a character just like HS2?

It really is a pain to create characters in Vam, especialy if you're used to HS2's impecable character editor. You have to scroll trough endless sliders in vam, praying you'll find the one you want. You can add your favorite sliders to your Fav tab, that helps a little. But overal it's pretty hard creating something new from scratch but it's possible 😅

how is the realism of a character of Virt-A-Mate compared to HS2 Like body proportions and poses? Does it have plenty of modability?
Both can do realistic & cartoon but imo, Vam is better at a realistic style and Illusion is better at cartoon/anime. Illusion has better character creation UI but Vam has wayyyy more customisation sliders. Which is a huge insentive for me. What pushed me to switch to vam was the physics & collision.

how do i deselect an onject? like i clicked on the head and all these options came up, but i wanna deselect it so that the options goes away
Click on blank space, it will make them go away
Would you say Virt-A-Mate is better than Honeyselect 2?
I often miss the interiors, objects, scenes when looking at Virt-A-Mate, but the characters look cool. So I'm not sure.
I hate to admit but vam is better then honey select imo. Although, I miss honey select's character creator everyday 😂
I play this game for the plot mostly. That's what i tell my wife atleast.

I just want to copy paste the physics engine of VaM into Honey Select 2. The GUI for VaM is a terrible nightmare for someone getting into it. HS2 even with all its mods is just infinitely more simple by comparison

Yes ! However, you may not be able to download newer versions that release later on if you stop your patreon subscription. I never bought a second one ever since.

Custom unity items usualy hold map items. That or you can load a pre existing file with the map loaded

Very nice some 2k21+2 guide. I was tempted to update my waifu from Skyrim/HS onto some next gen.
Perhaps a tutorial how2 link unique textures/decals/morphs together would be greats to see. You now? Like unify all assets. Additionaly maybe some tutorial on how to use that hairstyling tool to create custom hairs, could be very handy. ( some hair mods use "4 separate hair pieces combined into 1 " , so it made me curious why is that )

Yes you can. It was originaly intended for vr

@@rivalgamer983 trust me, you will be needing a pc. It's a relatively high demanding game in terms of gpu power. An oculus couldn't even come close to meeting the requirements. Sorry to let you know.

Virt a mate
This program is more of an animation software than it is an interactive game experience. Which is why it will ultimately fail if it is not made into an easy to use sex game. While it is nice being able to create, this is far too unintuitive for the average user. The interface is ugly, and the vocabulary doesn't make sense. I've done many projects in this program and it was a struggle. And sometimes the physics would self destruct causing atoms to fly everywhere and ultimately freezing the program. I lost interest after about a year and a half.
Sad part is, it does look amazing! Some of the skin textures; with the veins are ultra realistic. But until it is made into a full-fledged game, I have lost interest.
You're absolutely right the User interface is dogshit 😂and the collisions crash non stop, it's mind-boggling! But I still see the potential if you have the patience and knowledge to tame the software

100% agree, creating characters is a pain as well. Hope they'll come up with something better in the new version they are working on
Lol, I just looked at comments for a 3 year old video saying the same things, and they didn't improve the interface much since, it would seem. But we can always hope for better!
