Having won 1 game apiece in their first 2 encounters, GM Kevin Goh and IM Tin Jingyao enter the tiebreak Armageddon format, where White has 6 mins to Black's 5 mins. This format has no increment, and Black has draw odds (if Black draws, Black wins the series).
Both players sped run through the opening phase of the Giuoco Piano Pianissimo Variation, which was very similar to their first encounter.
