ATHENS IN SPRING: ACROPOLIS, BEACH CLUB & SHOPPING AT HERMÈS, CHANEL & DIOR - TRAVEL VLOG 🇬🇷

Hello my friends, we did a little spring getaway to Athens lately and it was such a lovely trip, it was our first time there and I honestly did not expect this city to be that nice! 🇬🇷
Come with us to discover the historic city center Plaka, a walk through Athens’ green parks lined with orange blossom trees up to the temples of Acropolis, a stop-by at the Panathenaic Stadium and the ancient Angora, and a romantic sunset dinner on the rooftop of The Dolli hotel with the most dreamy views. 🏛
Of course, we also did some shopping and stopped by the usual suspects Hermès, Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Prada to check out the spring/summer collections and Diptyque to smell the Parisian Café Verlet line with scented candles of notes such as coffee, biscuit, candied fruits and whipped cream - a dream! ☕️
Speaking of coffee, we also checked out some cute cafés and had some traditional Greek coffee, my favorites were the iconic Café Athénée and Ami Gastrotheque, a little Italian bistrot. Athens got to offer so many nice restaurants too, from traditional Greek restaurants serving Gyros and Greek salad such as Kosmikon and Lyra, to modern Greek-Asian fusion cuisine at Nolan. Make sure to also check out their pastry shop Sweet Nolan (try the yuzu-filled sugar buns). Some more favorites: The Lobby for burgers, Ergon House for fresh market dishes and, around the corner, Ergon Bakehouse for the best baked goods and sourdough pizza (which is also the hotel where we stayed) - a true paradise for foodies! 🍕🍳🍯
Our last day of this trip we spent at the Bolivar beach club to get some vitamin sea and I was so surprised how clean the sand beach and how turquoise the water is there, a perfect ending to a beautiful spring getaway! 🌊
