Really fantastic job. Thank you for helping me to make the decision to buy the 9000lb lift for my son.
You're welcome
Congrats on your new lift, well, somewhat a new lift by now. That thing is sick and looks a lot safer than what you were using, not to mention the time you are probably saving with it as well and in your business, time is money. By the volume of work you are getting and the beautiful family you have, you are blessed sir. Oh yeah, cute hound dogs too! 😊
Hey thanks boss , yes time is money, with this lift now I don't get dirty like I use too thanks God I have this small lift is a Big help yess ,, thanks for your feedback and thanks for watching my videos boss God bless you too
What model is it and how much weight have you put on it
Is made by stratus , so far any car , is say max 8000LB
Great video sir.
Thanks boss
Thank you very much sir
Yes sir u are very welcome
I have a similar lift having same problem, it slides on the concrete. I found from home depot a roll of rubber sheets, not carpet, it is the one for running , costs only 30 dollars, fits nicely under the lift and it has never slide since. To increase the distance between the lift and the car so I can access the gas tank and pipe, I built four wood stands using 2 by 4s, you can find a lot videos from youtube on how to build wood stands, lift my car first, place fours stands under each tire, lower the car onto these wood stands, then place four jack stands on top of the lift, raise the lift to lift the car using the jack stands, this way I have the access. I believe your lift the position limit switch is broke, mine was, it should be able to stop before the lift raise too much, the installation of the switch was problematic, the arm points downwards and can be jammed and crushed, it should point upwards, I bought from amazon new ones and did some modification and it works properly.
Ohhh thanks for sharing boss yes I know I have to stop it before it get to the very top and get stuck ,, do you still have that link for that switch ? I will look into all this staff you say thanks boss

Let me also tell you what I did, you may have better idea. First the arm was adjusted to upward so when the bar hit the switch arm, the arm will be push upwards, not downwards, so it is not to be jammed between the bar and the bottom plate. Then, the back end of the arm was cut short, so it is not going to hit the bottom plate. Lastly, the up part of the thing holding the arm was grinned lower so when the lift was lower down completely, it does not press the arm causing the lift not to want to lift up, in which case, you need to manually connect the two wires to lift up the lift. I am not sure if it is worthwhile to spend hours in this small issue though, looks like you are very busy, it took me one whole day, lots of try and error....
Cool
Thanks
Is this long enough for my Tesla Model S? The jack points are 71 inches apart.
Thanks
Nice lift. Is it bolted to the floor to keep from sliding when you pull a vehicle onto it?
Thanks no is not bolted , if is rear WD what I do is go a bit fast and it will not move
Ok and thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
You welcome Phillip
What is the model number of your lift? I think it is the 8000 but is that only 220v? Is there room for a helper underneath the lift?
Yes it is a 8000 120v low voltage
@@nestorautorepair Thanks. I will have to call them as I only see a 220v listed for that model. Your video was great, one of the best I have ever seen reviewing a product. I also saw the recommendation to put a rubber mat under the lift to prevent it from moving when working on a rear wheel drive. Did you try that and if so did it work? Thanks, it was great to see it lift so many different vehicles. Stratus should use you as their user.
Thanks John ,, yes I hear that about the rubber under , but I have not try that yet , what I do is go a little fast and it will not move ,, I lear a lot lifting trucks and work van , I done lots of big jobs , I will make a new video soon , showing the staff I lean , thanks for your feedback John

My man thanks
U welcome boss
Do you have enough space to do a transmission on a 4x4 truck like a tundra or f150?
Yes but it will need two people
@@nestorautorepair I was worried about the cross beam at the bottom when using a transmission jack. Does it ever get in the way?
Yes it will get on the way that's why I say with two people anything is possible with this jack I love it , before I did 3 to 4 cars per day now I do 7 to 10 per day with this lift
Do you feel comfortable putting a car on it backwards even though they don’t recommend it?
Yes some car I have no choice , just put it all the way back , is all good , the more you use it the better u become with it
Where are you located? I am in Silver Spring Maryland.
I'm in Sterling va
