Nemesis Reborn, I can’t talk about ride experience since I didn’t go on original Nemesis when I went in November 2022 (too scared of rollercoasters at the time!) but I can say that Nemesis Reborn in my opinion looks way more professional and the ride is VERY intense!

Basically same ride, New lick of paint and some added effects. 😅
Great rollercoaster I was there on the open day of the original one and still love it to this day.

I'm going with reborn, I think its nostalgia that makes people say the old one is better but I respect both opinions

I’d take the unique bone white track and the new station with the old queue line spikes.
Still, I love the red veins and happy with the overall outcome.

Reborn for sure the clear winner. but it needs to run for a good year or 2 because B&M's age better as time goes! it's a all a bit stiff at the moment.

Its such a horrible rework all around to be honest and this side by side proves it.
The only thing that is incredible is the eye which is world class, other than that, Alton should really bring in some new creatives with high level thinking instead of this tarnished cheap look. Maybe start pinching some people from the parks in Europe like Phantasialand, Europa or Efteling.
Airbrushed veins onto a track like some gypsy fair ghost train.Theres a good reason no other B&M has this. Because it looks incredible tacky. Close up its even worse and will age horribly.
Why is everything so,...black? Black fences black supports black track, black signage. The original was beautiful because it had some elements of contrast. Now its just a wretched mass of glossy black paint everywhere.

I think it's to reflect the aesthetic of the time. Today, strong design has strong colour contrasts and aggressive impact. Maybe things will look different in another 30 years when they retrack it again and change the theme to fit then-tastes.
The veins do communicate that the track **is** part of the Beast more successfully. Whilst with the old theme, it wasn't explicit. The veins are a continual motif that echoes throughout the zone with the tentacles on many things. It helps communicate **how** Sub-Terra narratively even works. Even though Nemesis is pinned down and contained, their tentacles are still able to roam.
Whilst I miss the aesthetic of Entropy and how well it aged since the natural decay of things would only heighten the theming, I think the current theming more successfully communicates what Nemesis **is** to the public, even if it's very over-the-top.
