As a Novel reader, Arc 6 is some of the best stuff I've ever read
I don't think re:zero will be able to win anime of the year even if it was the greatest masterpiece to have ever been written in the anime world, it's a popularity contest
Season 3 needs a directors cut with hour long episodes. Rewatching season 2 again and the pacing is not great.

I don't think it will be featured in 2024 anime awards, maybe in the 2025 one.
If Arc 6 is done right, Re:Zero season 3 may go down as one of the best seasons of all time.
Edit: For those in the replies, yes, there is a high chance it will be animated. Characters that are introduced in arc 6 appear in the Season 3 promotional artwork, and multiple leaks also point towards it. This is not confirmed, just highly likely

The animation and character designs look so good! As a light novel reader, this will be the best season of Re:Zero yet anime onlies look forward to absolute peak!

The scene with the bird, looks like the intro to Marleys in S3 of AoT (when the bird is flying above the battleground).
@MrKapucyn19 actually, ironically enough a scene vaguely similar to this will happen in season 3 depending on how the director does it. White birds are pretty important in rezero, think back to rems confession where there was a flock of them confession
