As a die hard fan who struggled a lot with the last 2 albums, im incredibly happy with how this album turned out. This probably just needs to be their sound going forward now.

Finally man. As an oldschool Asking Alexandria fan, the song Let the Dead Take Me was like my guilty pleasure. I'm having incredible fun. Yes, the na na parts may be unnecessary, but it never feels like the song Down to Hell. but my main favorite piece is things could be different
I really feel like people unfairly hate on AA no matter what they do in recent years. The heaviness on this album doesn't sound too forced and the more melodic parts are well written. Things Could be Different totally has some modern Northlane inspiration which is unexpectedly cool. As a whole it's definitely nothing groundbreaking and very much falls in line with a Bad Omens type sound, but it has some cool moments and is a nice easy listen. Solid 7.5/10

Their best record since AA5 by far. I enjoyed SWOTI and LAHOF a mixed bag for me, but this is great. I'm happy that you at least gave it a chance, because a lot won't. A problem I have with the album itself is the tracklisting arrangement. It just seems super weird to me.

I really like it and i also really loved their 2021 album so tyhis just combines heavier stuff and that i love it all
It’s not the most groundbreaking or interesting music ever, but hey it’s fun easy to listen to and catchy

I don't care I'm gonna say it. I'd choose this album over STAS and Reckless ANY DAY. I love both of those albums but man this one just hit the spot in every way.
While this album still isn’t their best work yet (that’s still the Self Titled imo) this is a massive step in the right direction and I hope they can keep this up

I'm glad you gave it a chance. I genuinely loved this album. I saw them live on Tuesday and Danny honestly sounded incredible. His screams were incredible, and I got most, if not all of his screams on video, esp the entirety of A Prophecy and The Final Episode. His vocal coach was there and he credited him for helping him to be able to scream for everyone again. The whole band sounded incredible, the energy was insane, and they all seemed genuinely happy and excited to perform for everyone. It was like my eras tour lol. It was easily top 3 best concerts i've ever been to. Up there with my Spiritbox concert.
Choruses, riffs and bridges are the best parts. Simple yet really nice. Was surprised myself I actually liked this album.
asking alexandria was the first metalcore band i ever heard back in 2016, my friends were introducing me into numetal and hard rock, today death/metalcore are my favorite genres and i became a independent musician doing some experimental screamo shit
once asking is so important to me, i loved the album!!! i've listening to it everyday since the release, i'm in love
drumming was my favorite thing ab this album James killed it
I loved them since the final episode, it was weird to a teenager in Morocco to hear this kind of music but I had fun and memories with this band, and always waiting them to be heavier but theyre getting softer album after album, I wish they could release at least two last heavy Sh before I lost my desire for music forever, I know that danny has voice problems but that would be only digital songs I don't ask him to perform them on stage if he afraid to lost his vocal cords.
Bad blood and Nothing Left are the best songs of the album
It's crazy how they kept the best songs for the album, but I'm not going to complain. Even the singles sounds better in the context of the album
The female singing in let go is Grace Grundy. She sings too in i don't need you (LAHOF album).
Any plans to check out the new Woe is Me song Red? It’s an amazing comeback single. Hopefully all their new releases are on par.

been repeating this album for about 2 months now. My favorite is Dark Void and then Nothing Left
To me, their recent work including this is some of their best stuff. Ive moved on from their old stuff and I understand that theyre not moving towards that anymore, theyre doing a BMTH sort of thing where they arent going back to their old stuff but creating intersting stuff that includes elements of it.
I love this album.
The first songs are better than i expected but the second parte bored me. Even with that, this was so much better than everything i could imagine with the singles
Is it the same metalcore weve heard back in 2016? No. Does it need to be no? The problem with fans is sometimes they hold too hard on nostalgia and can't accept that new members join into bands and they begin experimenting new styles that suit the new members. It took about two albums, but I really feel they nailed it here and produced a fantastic album that they can be proud of.

Phenomenal album tbh. I thought the middle was kinda weak at first especially the goofy sounding track that is Let The Dead Take Me but honestly I enjoy that song after a few listens
yes, this is the kind of album that needs to be listened to several times to be enjoyable. listened Dark Void for the first time, hated it. Now its my favorite song off the album.

Dude exactly. “Psycho” it’s the side of sound that it’s to goofy and cringe for me, and then you have the first three songs that really feel strong and with a serious atmosphere that make sense.

I personally think, even with the whacky mid songs like Let the Dead Take Me, is one of their best in the last 10 years. Going closer to that Self titled vibe. Return to form in my opinion!

For me in some parts it felt like Ed Sheeran discovered Octane/ Modern Metalcore but as Rocked said in his review of this album, This truly puts in the question, Where does AA go from here? And I kinda agree, what is next? They did everything there to do...
I feel like AA kinda screwed themselves on this album because the singles were just not good and set a bad tone for the rest of the album so people myself Included just didn't listen to it

Let the dead take me is definitely the least favorite for me. But things could be different and let go are AMAZING. and the final two tracks are fun and kill it with fire is just a fun 1 min track.

Whole album was mid - Last song was a banger! As soon as it ends and I hear "bad blood" I just put the last track straight back on
Been a fan since day 1. This is the best AA album so far together with the Self Titled album.
I'm completely past them being heavy and respect what they've made the last few years, but the last couple albums have been rough. This on the other hand, is genuinely really good, emotional music. The title track hits me in the feels big time. I will say Psycho is pretty awful tho imo.
This album surprised the shit out of me, its genuinely good. 2 bad songs, and the finisher is not for me but its incredibly catchy and does what it has to do.
I prefer his 2017 album

If this album didn’t have Kill it with Fire on it, I’d have no negative feedback, but that song felt pointless and forced.
Went through the album myself as well. Like 2 songs are 4/5s. The rest are 1s and 2. Not good
I actually kinda disliked this one. Not hate at all, I like a few of the songs, but think some are pretty grating to listen to (for example Bad Blood). I think a lot of songs have some good song writing but as a whole album it does not come together all that well.
Things could be different and Let Go are my favourites probably. Still looking forward to what they might do in the future.
