    Jamie Chadwick has earned a spot in F2 for sure. Problem is that drivers pay to race in those series through sponsorship or wealthy parents. Honestly I think they should scrap the W series and put the money into letting these drivers race in F2

      You actually make such a good point! Integrating the W series into the F2 championship would definitely get more eyes on these great drivers! Do you think they’ll plan to keep the W Series alive?

    I loved this vid, great job. And I agree with you. Women racing is awesome and should be highlighted to help push the w series, and I also like your point to the cars being the same with the talent of drivers being the focus… :)

      100% I’d love to see the W Series given some alternative media rights to at least broadcast the race to more viewers. Even if just for a season. Not enough people even know this league is a thing ☹️

    Did you just compare latifi’s salary with the W serie pricepool ??

    • @KyleSpoor

      Haha maybe 😂

      @mpn304 Před rokem

      @@KyleSpoor That latifi comparison makes zero sense, like absolutely ZERO sense.
      Motorsport is open class, so boys and girls can compete equally.
      So if a girl is fast and have enough mental/financial support, Than she can potentially become a F1 driver. Her gender is no issue.
      But the W serie is very unfair towards the boys who fights for the same race seats as the girls. The boys needs to find millions in sponsorship, where the girls in W serie get all for “free” please explain how this is fair competition?

    Well I was all for W series, but the racing was a massive snooze fest, and that's it

    • @KyleSpoor

      Fair enough 😄 what do you think they could do to make it more interesting?

    Watched a few races they were all boring af. You can't force people to watch content which doesn't provide entertainment.

    • @KyleSpoor

      Totally agree, You can’t force people to watch anything 😅. What do you think is lacking in the W Series? Is there things they could do to make it more enjoyable to watch?

    Im my opinion the problem is just a numbers game. Simply there isnt enough women interested in motorsport. Is just that simple. Most of us love the sport since we were kids. Women dont

      I agree and disagree. I wasn’t a crazy race fan when I was growing up, it’s something I fell in love with as a young adult. And the same for my partner, she probably even gets more into the F1 then I do. I think the number of female race fans would surprise us

    You can not creat a sport in 1 day, legends are not made in 1 race. Like many things that over the years have changed and introduced with sports and equality everything need to evolve. Look back to the beginning of motorsport. It was a gentlemens race, in a gentlemens world. But they did not start with a 1.5million dollar fund. Many people built something out of nothing and put themselves in the position or racing. Does not mean they were the best driver but that they loved the thrill and excitement of motorsports. Over the years througj the this has evolved into what we know have is a highly professional sport that are run more like a business. This has taken many many years. And it does not mean that all types of racing are "interesting" but for women to come into a sport and expect something that has been built up over such a long period is insane. It is not financially viable in any sport. They need to do it for the love of the sport. Thwy need to pioneer at the forefront of future women and bring something to the table and make it exciting. Pure talent and hard racing is what people wanna see. They want heroes and legends, thats what attracts people. But this all takes time to forge a new path! You cant duplicate something and expect success with a different recipie. It just wont happen. As for me i had not even heard of the W series until a week ago. Still not seen it. Im open to any motorsport as long as there is parity and excitement! Like womens cricket, football and other sports they will all follow the same path. But will it lead anywhere? It is something to be earnt. Not bought!

      Hey mate! First off I wanna say thank you for such an involved comment! I really appreciate you taking the time to voice your opinion on the topic 😄
      I read through your comment and I do agree with a few of your points. Your last comment had me a little confused. You said that it is something to be earned and not bought. In my mind these women race identical cars that have no financial advantage over one another and there is no buy in for the drivers entry (lessening the financial incentive). You also made the point that you hadn’t even heard of the W Series till last week, meaning that this series may not be reaching potential viewers in a way that is needed to grow the series moving forward.
      My only other thought with this, do you think that if there was a men’s league running with identical parameters as the W Series and created and the exact same time. Would the men’s league outperform the women’s league solely based on the gender of the drivers?
      There are some incredible female drivers in the world and with Motorsport being the “gentlemen’s club” like you mentioned earlier, I’d love to see them prove there ability on the track, but unfortunately it’s not that simple as they have a societal stigma to deal with before they even get in the car.
      Thanks for the comment! I appreciate your input! 👍🏻

      Whe i say bought, what i mean is because people have the money does not mean they have the talent or are the best. This is where the women of now need to pioneer and not do it for money. But you are correct, i dont think it has reached any audience let alone a target audience. Also by them throwing money at a sport does not immeadiatly make it a world wide hit. Id be interested to see it. But they need to deliver to keep people interested and involved. Thats where you need the talent factor.

    • @KyleSpoor
      @KyleSpoor  Před rokem +1

      I get you! I’m saying that though I definitely think there’s women in the W Series that would be super competitive with the other drivers on the grid in F2
