I had to sub - your side comments are hilarious! LOL! BTW, that’s disappointing about the castle mold being so floppy.

Topaz Williams Thanks again! It kind of feels like I was cheating though... I feel that I just made one of each item using the molds that came in the subscription box and the just somehow put them all together...😂😂😂

You can get really cheap liquid pigment on ebay. I wish I knew before spending $70+ on liquid color. Also powder pigment or chalk pastel are really cheap and work as well. I bought some powder pearl pigment for $20 on amazon compare to $40-50 on soffee and toffee. So check on ebay and other website for cheaper resin stuff. I would save so much money. I was just worry powder would be bad like leave speck on my piece hence I didn't buy it at first. Then I saw other people use it and their piece turn out fine. The makeup idea was genius. I wish I wasn't so scare when I started resin to experiment more so I would save so much money.

Haha, yea, I figured too that they sell pigments on websites like ebay for a much cheaper price. There are liquid dye, and powdered pigments, and I haven't decided which one to buy yet! :P I am scared to experiment sometimes too... like what if things change color/consistency, what if there's a chemical reaction, what if things blown-up, right? But I guess eyeshadow's fine :D

I'm quite new in resin but I think you are supposed to apply the holographic powder over the finished piece. At least it is how is used in nail art.
    beautiful project

OMG, thanks for the advise! This box also included some transfer films which I know are suppose to be applied on top, but I never thought of applying this powder on top. I will definitely try that next time!

@@linglingcrafting6187 Its easier to take it and rub it in on the mold. I find it hard to buff it in on smaller pieces with the applicator so I use my finger and a silicone tool. If you buff it on a finished piece I find it doesn't stick as well.

Ethereal Aesthetics Ok, good to know! Just wondering... have you ever had problems with the powder sticking to the mold instead of the resin piece after you pop the resin out of the mold?

Lingling Crafting Normally there is a little left on the mold but the majority should go on the piece.

Got it! That sounds a lot better than what I did in the video, haha :P
