been on upwork for last 12 years. everything was fine until the changes slowly took over. and after the mid 2023, the project flow totally stopped with connects raised, bidding system, boost system, etc. never in the last 12 years had this problem. top rated but going through a big blockage for last 5 months with no interviews, and only buying connects . something isn't right. I think the system somehow hides the pro- freelancers from the list of applicants.

How long will Upwork harrass its "top talent" with networking, community forum, coaching, mentoring, etc. etc. invitations to help out all the hoardes of newbies. Freelancers are "free," so please let us do our own damn work and not dig our own grave by passing along free advice for others to take the clientele we worked so hard to build.
It's time to take a stand against Upwork's deceptive practices by boycotting the platform until meaningful changes are implemented.
