I quit my job in 2018 to become a full-time freelancer because it was pretty cool at that time. But as time passed my clients started preferring Salaried Professionals more because it is very cheap to pay a salaried employee for his/her time rather than paying a freelancer for the work that has been done. In India, Freelancing culture has not yet flourished, and it is miles far from true. I regret my time not getting a proper Job & completing my master's. I was in this bubble that "Who needs a degree when you can just freelance!" My BAD! :(

@@mrdotak6 Hi yes! I am 25+ now bouncing back... applying for jobs, infact got a job because of my freelancing contacts! Touchwood. And will be opting for my Masters very soon... It's going to be tough because other people my age are already settled in life.
But yes, I am super excited because I am not getting that degree just for the sake of it. This time I know its value. Also, I keep myself updated & educated on Finance, Marketing via CZcams. Still a long way to go but not impossible.

Free lancing is not about degree or anything its all about skills. One of my frnd without cs degree earning 1 lakh+ per month because he know his work very well and he is expert in that. So guys if u are good at something just do it no matter u have degree or not... Focus on your skills and u can earn much more thn a degree guy.

Exactllllyyyy. I have a total of three years of professional experience producing content for both freelance clients and corporations. Yet I am still working a fixed job at an MNC. These fake freelance motivational freaks really need to stop pushing people in the wrong direction. Freelancing is no joke and requires you to be highly skilled, even more than full-time professionals to land high paying gigs.

I started my career with freelancing. Landed my current job from a freelance client. (I do have a degree though)

School ho ya college students ke skills par teachers aur parents ko dhayan dena chahiye...aaj ke din me degree se jyada after college real life me struggle karna padta hai isiliye skills aur personality public speaking aur apne confidence badhane par dhayan dena chahiye

Like, payment within certain time. Making mandatory work appointment letter even if its for a week & giving experience letter if the work is more than a week.
As an freelance engineer, when I give interview for permanent jobs, they don’t see value of freelance job saying you don’t have any paper. Those HR are real scammers, they want the skill you have but wouldn’t pay you fairly because you don’t have letters.
I had that problem with India’s biggest company. Unfortunately I was kept on hold because I didn’t had CTC or appointment letter. I cracked the technical interview but HR was real scammer. She decrease my value by almost 30% from what I asked for.
I never thought, that my paper was more important then my skill.
Now I intend to serve in Gulf countries. They pay me fair for my skill.

I have advised them that if they wish to compete without a degree, they must possess a high level of expertise in the field, as it can otherwise be quite challenging. With a degree, individuals are averaging a salary of 30k, whereas without a degree and with less effort, the path becomes significantly more difficult.

I have a 40k client who just needs 3-4 video and he is an Indian client and i am in +1 but I really appreciate this video i have to invest 3-4 years to learn freelancing and have clients.

I would personally say expertise alone won't help, economical backing is another important thing. Fundings, sponsorship, collaboration etc will come only if you get successful. To prove your talent you have to invest first.
I'm doing free lancing and earning 30k+ rn, but I would say it is based on luck and I'm in college it's too hard and stressful like you have to complete assignments, homeworks, learn new coding languages, complete 75% attendance plus client works
How about after college and u are not finding enough work? And u want to do freelancing to get some more financial build?
@@velmascientista7026 in coding field I would say there's lot of field which are untouched in India, obviously a job will be safer option: but you can create some potential/passive income sources such as some websites like Instagram reels downloader etc etc,
Also Discord bot, telegram bot, some small game applications etc which can easily give you passive income then you can live Good life on low paying job And upskill to get better job.
Also I just work 2-3 hours (complete ) for freelancing and it gives me good enough but again in my case its luck

I'm into Fitness and trust me, 80% of the coaches don't even know the ABSOLUTE BASICS of nutrition and training. They don't even know the definition of calories. They say, it's just "calories". I was just dumfounded. One of the people who I worked for also mentors other coaches, and the quality of the coaches who come for business mentorship is just bad.
