Perpetuum Jazzile. Vocal ecstasy. - Hudba
I so agree with you - I am hooked myself. Found them through NPR and am wowed!
I love you Perpetuum Jazzile all the time that I watch you singing brazilian songs I cry. Come to Brazil please. I love youuuu!!!! You are amazing!
FORMIDÁVEL É VER A MÚSICA BRASILEIRA TÃO BEM TRATADA!
I love these guys!!! Voices and faces of Angels!!!!!!
And only 2% of music lovers love jazz to begin with ... I'm one who is thankful to hear this group - true genius!
Can't stop listening to these folks! Outstanding!!!
I'm from Brazil and I think it sounded great. I love all their pieces. If they're this good on video, I can't imagine how the group sounds "ao vivo".
BTW, the keyboard was awesome, and so the drummer and the bass guitar.
Baroque Samba and a bit of Bossa Nova which is a Brazilian jazzzz, all that jazzzzz!
Barbaro!
Simply - outstanding ! ! ! ! !
Love those harmonies!
I think true music lovers find excellence in all genres. The late Canadian novelist, W O Mitchell, said the arts are how we know we are not alone. The Perpetuum Jazzile artists are bringing millions of us together, aren't they? The talent, the hard work, the discipline makes it seem so easy!
Baaaaah, heard it a thousand times, still soooo good.. The whole choir is so in time with the band, and with so complex rhythmic figures.. Almost impossible! Go figure...
FANTASTIC ! NINA
Great jazz - in any language!
Uaaaaaaaaaa, chills on my skin!
The harmonies are heavenly
Thank you so much. To change from one language to another is a tribute to all of the singers and their director. When you come back to the USA, I promise that I and my Grand Children will be there. Waiting for the new albums (CD/DVD'S) to arrive here in Houston, TX USA
Your fan in Houston, Texas

Our great jazz pianist, Blaž Jurjevčič.
Это космос какой-то!!!
Izredno! Upam da boste nadaljevali s trdim delom na poti proti Afriki in Brazilu :-)
Pozdrav iz Hrvaške
Fantastic !
Okay I want a CD right now. lol
I don't understand how this song can only have 3000 views and Africa over 1 000 000! This is much more interesting music.
The male solo singer is more pop than samba though, never finds the rythm in the solo.
But I think he does great in other clips here.
A fantastic group. hope they come to a city near me in the US. This arrangement sounds Very reminiscent of The New York Voices
U r definitely awesome! How i Luv u guys!
Phenomenal!
love it
Each to their own!!
Je suis renversée!
Brazil 😃😃😃😃😃💛💛💛💛💛💛👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏
Great! Pozdrav is Slovenije :D
This is not an easy song to learn :( but so much fun to sing!
And this was even just 0.3%...
Good points, I think that this shows that music can never only be a matter of commercialism.
One pragmatic approach is to mix it up. I hope this gem of a choir not only goes pop-cover in some american AMAZING!,COOL!,etc...-hype but keep their identity as well.
I think one secret of their success is that they do the pop-covers without any cliches, they take them seriously. This wakes people up to the fact that it is actually very good music :-)
What an amazing group! Everything is so tight and it is difficult for a group this large to sound so disciplined. By the way....who is on keyboards?...the solo is over the top!
bossa2nova
Reminiscent of the Double Six of Paris or the Swingle Singers. However FANTASIC in their own right. Makes me wish that I could sing.
@Iluj93 this IS jazz rhythm. Don't you hear the syncopation? Well, the jazz part starts later on in the song but yeah there is jazz in the song.
Have a listen to PJ's version of "Killing Me Softly". It's a Gene Puerling arrangement. If you don't know who Gene is, don't feel bad. Neither did I until his name came up and I did a little research. You've heard his work before!
Sadly, Gene passed away in '08.
Zanimivo da nikjer ne piše kdo je avtor skladbe in priredbe?
Zdravo! Tko je momak sa zlatnim ovratnikom na 3:25? Moram znati njegovo ime!
Hello! Who is the guy with the golden collar on 3:25? I need to know his name!

@ashoka3
I don't agree. The rhythm of jazz is complicated and sometimes it sounds strange, so he sang well.
holy shit, it's almost better than the original!!! XD
It's more like Bossa Nova rhythm with a little jazz in it
You CAN say dottiekirby. And we agree 100%
Alyciac 123: saj piše, da je Nino Kozlevčar
Nino sings good but the girl kind of got a little tired and fatigue . But the voices sound so good specially the keyboard & drums. Their samba makes you want to dance!!!!!
Kyle Jazz?
0:00 - 1:05 and
5:08 - 6:14 ...this is brilliant music !
in my opinion the drummer isn´t necesary ....
Nino
DOODOOKAKA
Porquê tanta brasileirice quando são bem mais maravilhosos noutros sons?
shiu!
Honestly, I'm generally a much bigger fan of jazz than pop, but I do like their rendition of Africa better. While this was good as a general jazz piece, I think PJ lost a lot of its flair by singing with the trio.
I think PJ's strength is in tightly executed, original and complex arrangements. However singing with the trio means they have to simplify their stuff considerably.
That's the frustration of jazz musicians. Only 3% of all music buyers purchase within the diverse genre called jazz which already includes all other misclassified music. The more technical the music, the smaller the audience. Jazz has no mass appeal, sadly. Intellectuals need only apply.
nino is like a little clown here
