@@conwayfitzgerald I really do, top notch production values, would it be possible to get close captions on the Other parts on your channel, many years of subtitled anime have taught me to read as much as hear my stories, so I embarrassingly admit to feeling lost without the accompanying text.

Oh my gosh! In all the videos I watched in this channel, this is perhaps the best of all so far!

This gave me chills. I loved it.
The story was great, my only gripe, and it is a small one, is that at times the pacing felt drawn out.
That tends to happen when there's a huge lore dump with no story for a context.
Not saying there's no story here, but there are parts where it's barely relevant, especially at the beginning.
Well, now I know I have something to fill the dead times with at work tonight!

@@conwayfitzgerald (I assume you are the writer) I think it was a great story! I often listen to All Things DnD when walking between my classes, so I don't often get to look at the screen. The reverb was a little much and made it hard to hear. It's a lot easier to hear when there is crisp clear dialogue, like a story is being told to you.

Interesting note, while the normal post with the poll showed in my feed, the actual video never did. I used the post to get to it. To answer your question, I’m interested about hearing the rest but more because it’s a good plot hook. I would prefer to just have the normal type of content on the channel. But I will watch whatever you post

I enjoyed this video very much. Fantastic work. I will just say to down play the continuos sound effects by 15% or so. I thought it brought great value to the background setting, but was just a tad bit loud. Over all, great piece of cinematic art. Don't stop, keep finding y'all path. Man. It feels like D&D, but in that stage of life where the fantasy starts to fade: nor more Elves, Dwarves, or even monsters. Always feeling closer to our contemporary past. It is a somber feeling.

The sound effects actually drown out the story for me. I'm paying more attention to the noise then the story. The sound effects should accent the story, not overwhelm it.

@@conwayfitzgerald I had no such trouble. Her voice was easy to follow and I enjoyed every second of this. The voice acting and the ambience brought this to life in a way a lot of audiobooks fail to. Already subscribed for more. :D

I enjoyed the narrator voice in this video. As for being "not elven sounding at all," how many actual elf voices have you heard, @Michael D? None? Ok then. It sounded fine to me and wasn't at all "hard to follow".
