I own a Roland piano though not this one and I love it. It's similar to the authentic experience you have on a baby grand. Fully weighted Keys, escapement, feel of the keys and the sound is like an acoustic piano. No bouncy Keys made of cheap plastic like some of name brand competitors.
Agreed, I have a FP60-X with the PHA-4 action. That action feels the best to me compared to the other entry level actions. I’ve played most everything else too, and I feel the PHA-50 is just as good, if not better than any of the other premium actions.
congratulations for the video (as always well done) . I have a roland lx 705 and i have to say that the keyboard is fantastic. When I play a grand piano in class with my teacher, the difference is really minimal. If I really have to make a note, I would have liked more power in the speakers to better hear all the nuances like in headphones. However, I'll fix it by connecting 2 external speakers.
Any chance that you will expand your St. Louis gallery to offer more than just Kawai pianos? I get exclusivity for acoustics, but it would be great to be able to compare the four main competitors for digitals in one location.
Hi there. We just bought a second hand LX 705 and are wondering if its possible to transport it via train. Is it possible to pick up/carry (for a short distance) the boxed piano -for 2 medium strong persons? Thank you for the great videos.
I bought the LX 705 3 years ago and never had any trouble with it. It has the 10 year warranty. I hope i get more than 10years out of it though. I play about 1 to 1 and a half hour every day. How many years do you think i might get out of it
I have an old Roland Piano and even when I use my headphones I can't play at 2am cause my downstairs neighbor can hear the keys hitting the baseboard. Will I have that problem with the LX 705?
When my brother in law plays my piano with headphones and me and my sister are in the same room talking you can hear the keys a little but he plays very heavy handed. I've asked my neighbour if she can hear me play when I have the headphones on and she said no.

How do you find the let off/escapement and the modeled sound ? I read many people people complaining about it...

Never liked Roland for its piano action . Kawai is the best by far.. Even action made by Fatar is decent.
