The vast majority of people who buy these expensive (and sometimes crazy) things, buy them because they genuinely enjoy having them, not because they like showing off or because they want to impress someone else. Whether it's a $100 million yacht, a $30,000 watch, or even a simple $1,000 fountain pen, people buy valuable things because of the enjoyment they get out of these things.
So please stop judging people for the things they buy. With all due respect, people like you is the reason why creativity and uniqueness and free expression is slowly being drained out of this world.

Raptor R will have the GT500 V8 in it. I'd still rather have this beastly 7.3 though!

Excuse me? They had the balls to offer an off-road truck that you can catch air with, with a warranty. They had the balls to put a detuned supercar engine in it, no matter how upset some people are that it has the wrong number of whatever. While the Ram TRX is getting downgraded to an inline I6, Ford has had the balls to offer the more affordable EcoBoost Raptor AND continue offering the supercharged V8 Raptor R.
If only people appreciated the insane factory shit we've been getting lately - things that we *NEVER* dreamed would be actual production cars rolling down the assembly line. Good lord, talk about your 1st world problems...
All within quarter of an inch, gotta love those tolerances...

I love it. My dream truck is an F-series Godzilla, just no turbo for me, thanks. :D Meanwhile I drive a RWD XL trim 2015 and am just obsessed. I've been on a budget but I've brought it aoround to be a damn fun and capable daily. I figure if I put about 6k in mine I'll have it close to where I want it. Meanwhile 6k$ is like one of his shocks. 🤣
Honestly bro, i have a 2015 with the 5.0, and when intest drove a brand new f250 with the 7.3, it wasnt impressive. Just felt like a work truck with a work truck v8. Our 5.0s and much lighter trucks are good enough. The steering and suspension on our 150s are so much nicer too. I wouldnt obsess anymore about it.
@@alextrainor2552 Hey thanks for that, you're totally right. The 5.0 F-150 is kinda where my head has been at anymore so yeah, I've put that fantasy to rest. ;) I'd love to see someone drop a 7.3 in an Expedition though. :D

@@CanIbeFrank i would say a while, as they are expensive and i think i will wait till people develop more and find out the limits and issues, i saw palm beach do a cam and there is a lot going on with even that.
i would however love to put one of their blowers on my cars lol

Some time in the last few years they changed to a 5 link with coils. Earlier ones were all leafs.
They change to coil springs with the 3rd Gen 2022 raptor

The suspension is nothing special.. he doesn't even run a spring under kit for the rear nor does he use bypass's

Nothing like a V8 motor with a manual shift. How great for Ford to produce these vehicles for all buyers world Ford lovers and DRIVERS. Australian's love their V8's.
