Tiamut seemed smaller as he was rising, but Arishem overlooking the Earth is like me staring down a bowl of noodles
Tiamut was a newborn baby. Babies tend to be smaller than the full size adults of their species.

The center point of the earth is 6.4 Million meters. Deepest hole we have dug is around 12 thousand meters. Tiamut height is around 600 meters. So, yeah. I'd say he's way too deep.
@@cohandora The only reason we know what the inside of Earth is like at all is from observation of earthquake waves across the planet. If there was a non-uniform body deep inside the core, it would need to have the same resonance as the material around it to not disturb these waves and thus tip us off to their existence. If the Celestials developed in the mantle, then there's a stronger chance of not needing to be uniform.
@@mrbyzantine0528 I see. But I think my point still stands. Tiamut is not that big to affect the EQ waves throughout history. That's why only when he's close enough to the earth surface and about to emerge that the entire earth had a global earthquake.

i think they're not 2000 feet, Tiamut's height is reaching Earth diameter in the Movie and it's palm literally 1000x exceed the size of a mountain. and i think Arishem is alsovery big bcs it was huge in the sky as probably as near as the moon, so the size is more 100x than moon. maybe also they are like The Watcher that can manipulate their size to fit mortal human perception.

2000’ tall? That’s way smaller than how they were presented in the movie. I’m the movie they are at least a couple hundred miles. And in some instances one seemed to be forming a galaxy so…. What is going on?
Movies tend to exaggerate source material.
Can they grow and shrink? Is that part of the comics? Because I asked the same thing. In the Guardians of the Galaxy movie they showed the Celestials walking on a planet and destroying it. But in the Eternals movie Arishem and the others are WAY too big to step foot on a planet like ours. So I'm confused.
Think 2000' tall is closer to the size of Tiamut, which was certainly SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than Arishem.
Every celestial is different and they can change their size

-both exidted before the birth of the universe
-in his firdt explination, odin said that malekeit created the eather, a dark liquid like weapon from the darkness (which wasn't the case) just like knull created the necrosword from darkness

In the film originally ajak shows infront of arishem but then later on he's shown as being Galactus size so surely in frame a human wouldn't even be big enough to be seen?
In GOTG their ship is only a speck in knowheres eye so he must have been a similar size to arishem

Forgive me but i dont know much about Ego but is it crazy to think that maybe a lot like Ego made his form into a planet as well as the energy protection he demonstrated, he could shape himself into a humanoid being of energy and make armour to increase defenses.

in the comics galactus had to eat 4 different planets with sentient beings like us just to kill one celestial he wont be able to take more than 1 on if he hasnt fully eaten
