I have no idea how to fix the SOS safety connect light On flash to switches green to red on Toyota rav4 le 2019!!! Do you know how to fix it? Please let us know, appreciate your helps
When Holden put similar system in statesman international in 98 they could lock doors shut engine off if it was stolen as long as police were behind vehicle something I think they should have as standard in current day
Yes, we had this in the Camry and Aurion many moons ago and was a neat feature
Who is sos buttons in the car
Hey.
Do the Voice sounds on all speakers in the car? DoorWoffers and tweetets in dash?
In Europe we have a separate speaker to the sos voice.
One speaker is used for the SOS system
Is this button free to use in a 4runner? Didnt want to press it to test out lol i paid for onstar in my cruze and accidently pressed the emergency button while flipping the mirror dimmer. It connected to emergency services and even though i said it was an accident a cop started pulled off an exit and started following me on the highway. Coincidence? Haha
How do we know if we have a subscription with our NEW Camry, and how to STOP the subscription to OPT-OUT.
Toyota emailed me and i have a toyota app that shows me what subscriptions i have and u can easily cancel them or call the toyota subscriptions line and have it removed
great video, very informative. I assume this is satellite driven rather than requiring mobile reception?
Hi
Thanks so much, we appreciate your feedback.
Toyota Connected Services utilises the vehicle’s inbuilt communication device to connect to the mobile network.
Very informative. Fun fact: European regulations state that car manufacturers must use 2G or 3G for E-Call equipment in their vehicles - up until today (2023(!)). 4G or 5G is not allowed. Now the real fun part comes into play: all mobile providers in my country (Netherlands) will be phasing out 2G and 3G in the oncoming years (if not done already). Sooner or later this will happen in all EU-countries I suppose.
I am wondering when this will be a high alert topic in EU politics. They have been warned for this by EENA (a European emergency number organization) since 2016.
Hopefully all this is better regulated in Australia.
Hi
Thanks for taking the time to watch our video and leave a detailed comment. In Australia connected services operates on the Telstra 3/4G. 2G Network was phased out in 2017.
My dad car has a sos button
Is the green light for the SOS suppose to turn off when the car turns off? Mines stay on when the car turns off and i think it drained my battery.
Hi
Thanks for reaching out. The light goes out on the vehicles I have tested.
Do I have to pay for SOS ?
Hi
SOS is part of the Toyota Essentials package and is complimentary until 2033 or 4G Sunset
But how to cancel call?

You can’t
How can I turn this shit of permently.

The fuse in the fusebox.
Why would you do that? Car gets jacked it's gone. I paid to have mine in my cars. Lincoln got stolen last year, and I was lucky it got recovered back to me
@@CaliAmg coz I live in different environment North Iraq car's don't get stolen that easy.
@Dashty Fryad I guess I need to move out of the crap hole USA and find a girl overseas as well. Seems everything is better overseas with EVERYTHING. Can't park anywhere or go anywhere without fear of getting robbed or car jacked lol and the women... total waste of time as well
@@CaliAmg hhhhhh no don't think that's going to be a good idea changing your woman's.
Coz our lady's zero in sex,
But in other ways yes definitely.
