This was using a bitrate of 25000 kbps finally. I'd like the quality to be even higher though. I might experiment with 27500 or even 30000 kbps in the near future but I really don't think my laptop can handle that.

The planet you recognised was similar, but not quite the same as one you go up with Yoshi in its first level, shortly before the angry cloud boss. But the layout is a bit different and everything is scaled up.
