This one has gotta have some of the most potent and relatable lyrics to my life right now, stuck sharing an apartment with a former friend who turned out to be an absolute piece of shit, with nothing but contempt, and alcohol the only thing making this situation somewhat bearable. 2 months until the lease is out at least

This song made me think about potential energy.Potential energy is usually described like what goes up must come down or whatever, but what about on a galactic scale, where do our atoms end up eventually? Is it in some black hole somewhere, and then repacked into some pre big bang ball of everything? What is our potential energy over a long long time?
Eventually, all those potential energies even out and everything settles into a uniform blank slate, lacking the energy for anything to affect anything else. Everything, even black holes, just burns out in the end. Probably. And over time long enough to be practically meaningless on a human scale
