We've been to Fukuoka last Christmas and it was so much fun.
Although Fukuoka is kind of a small city in Japan, there are tons of something you find entertaining and peaceful. Plus, you can enjoy doing shopping too.
I think winter is the best season to come here because it isn't that cold.
Everything was just as I had hoped for, so it was great.

As a Canadian (we love ice cream and eat it even at minus 30 degrees outside) and a current Fukuoka resident, I approve of the Daimyo Soft Cream...it's deliciously creamy. Next time you guys come back, let me know...I could possibly show you around on my day off.
