I tried a Donner jazz bass. Came with a broken tuning key and a bad fret. But it didn’t sound too bad. It was like $79. I gave it to someone wanting to try bass and he still plays it.
Love Donner. I have 2 of their teles and a DST 400 strat. Love them all. These are great for learning that new riff, jamming with friends and maybe a garage band, .but I would not recommend them for recording unless you change the pickups. These are great fun guitars. Buy one, you wont be disappointed.

It is quite the inexpensive Cadillac of guitars...and they market a 40w amp that goes to 11 !! ✌️
You are absolutely correct. I picked this guitar up from a pastor that brought it new for the church band , but nobody ever wanted to played it. $75.00 plus $5.00 for the collection plate, never hurts . Still had the plastic on the pick guard. I was amazed at how well this tele sounded. I did set the action and intonation, but otherwise it is just a great guitar. Thanks for your review. 🤘
Thanks for the review! Thinking about picking up a Donner for my daughter so glad to hear that they are solid and worth upgrading. You should request a Donner Cyclops amp. Looks a lot of features and would be great to see a sound comparison with some other battery amps.
I upgraded the nut to a Tusq. Huge difference in playability.

I have a 1400 dollar tele that got destroyed due to a storm. (Tree branch throught the window.) Would that body be good for the hardware and pickups?

There's a fella that plays in a local country band where i'm at, he's a killer player and always the cube. I'd say you'd be fine.

I bought the Donner strat….(DST-100). After a bit of tweaking and set new strings it’s a fun guitar to play. I’m in London, the tele you reviewed is on sale on the UK Donner site for £79….(like $94 and free shipping) mental!
Dont bother just go get a Fender Bullet tele like 230 bucks and way better
