Same I couldn’t imagine working with somebody who not only got me unfairly fired, but also stealing my girlfriend. You have to be a person with so much control to handle all that.
I think I'd probably end up stiffing Edge in a match or segment. It had to be hard to try move on when in a storyline with your ex and the guy she cheated on you with about said affair. I'm glad they're friends now.
Matt seemed abusive, tbf. His relationship with his now wife where they got in a physical fight, and Matt supposedly leaked Ashley's playboy pictures when she was in a relationship with Paul London.
Well I'm sure a mid to high 6 figure contract will make things better. Also I'm sure Matt didn't have trouble finding someone else who wouldn't cheat on him

Despite Chyna's downfall...my heart breaks for her. She really loved Triple H. And that storyline was the start of her downfall. I wish she would've gotten the help she needed before she died. Because she was really trying to make amends with everyone at WWE and apologize for her actions. But they turned her away. Certain romantic storylines and how awful they can turn out to be. Is why I understand why some wrestlers chooses to keep their personal lives private. Or just avoid romantic storylines altogether.
I really felt for her too...she lost the man she was to spend the rest of her life with and her dream job all in one fell swoop. Stephanie wanted her out and Daddy Warbucks gave her what she wanted. Even though she had backstage issues with some...you could say her downward spiral started here.

Yeah I watched another channel’s documentary on her, and her entire life was kinda crappy tbh. Her best time seems to be those early DX days with Hunter. I hope her soul has found some peace.

Man, even decades later, the way WWE treated the whole Matt-Lita-Edge situation still upsets me. Like, I'm glad Matt got rehired and they managed to get through that program and it did show their professionalism, but god damn. To have a real life affair be used for a storyline is down there with the lowest things WWE/F has done with horrendous abuse of real life struggles for the sake of ratings.
I still hate that Matt lost the feud. Also when he turned on Jeff helping Edge, didn't make sense to me as a kid, doesn't make sense to me now.
I think Matt and edge came to an agreement to be professional and make money. I don’t think it was WWE’s idea. I think it was the wrestles who pitched it
Matt understood that the real life situation would make for a great onscreen feud. You can’t blame WWE for cashing in, if Matt didn’t want to do it, it wouldn’t have happened.
Every one forgets that this issue with Matt lira edge was that Matt made it public.. wwe just made it public-er. All embarrassment is Matt’s fault. He should have handled it privately

Chris Candido & Sunny was a seriously toxic relationship. Candido was a sweet and talented man who suffered the trappings of lower card success while Sunny slept her way into fame and hooked up with HBK in front of a shelved Candido of all things
My heart broke for him, over and over, and ended with his tragic death. It was so unfair.
Sunny's(aka Tammy Sytch) life is a tragic drama in general. Look what happened to her recently. Because of her history with substance abuse, it finally caught up to her, and she's now rotting in jail for vehicular manslaughter(DUI). If I were WWE, I would definitely remove her from the Hall Of Fame because she no longer deserves to be there due to her actions.
I think wrestlers can turn Sunny into a case study of how things can go south in a career. She should have had a spot cemented as an industry legend, since she was the very first WWE diva. But she had enough personal controversies while she was in the business (i.e. affairs, drug use) that alienated her from most promotions, and WWE has barely ever called her to make special appearances. Ever since then, things have even spiraled further out of control with the events leading up to the DUI manslaughter. Even considering early releases for good behavior, she's still probably looking at 10-11 years minimum with her 17 year sentence.
@@donaldwilson2620 the system is why Tammy is in prison right now. She should have done a stint in the big house years before but they kept on giving her reduced sentences and refused to jail her for her many probation violations. Going to jail 10 years ago might have saved her and not led to an innocent man getting killed.
Ok major kudos to Erik Rowan & the Usos for diffusing a situation that could have easily gone MUCH worse.

I actually didn't know Diana and Davey Boy had split before his death, but knowing about the drugs he was hooked on as well as most of the WWF's 80's and 90's locker room, it's a miracle that any of the wrestlers stayed married for more than a few weeks.

Fun Fact: AJ Lee met Lita at a meet and greet when she (AJ) was a teenager while Lita and CM Punk was dating. Later on Lita went to Matt Hardy and CM Punk started dating AJ Lee and then married her. So Punk dated Phoenix who is now married to Edge who dated Lita who at the time dated Matt Hardy.

I mean the HHH and Chyna relationship was fucked up , but the worst is Randy Savage and Ms Elizabeth. Ms Elizabeth in my household was second to Princess Diana, so finding out she passed really fucked me up. I mean she was so beautiful and so committed to him, yet finding that he drove her away and she died addicted to drugs because of that mother fucker Luger......it still fucks me up. not even knowing her I know she was a beautiful soul and didn't deserve her end.
It's funny because we start off by talking about Lita and Jeff and I say to myself, "something tells me we're gonna hear their names later on down the list." Sadly I feel like Chynas breakup was more heartbreaking. She deserves so much more recognition and respect for what she did in the ring before the break up.

He wasn't unfairly fired 😂 he started an online tirade against 2 colleagues and broke company rules, threatening violence against both of them.

On Matt, Lita, and Edge story. Edge and Lita were actually married then. It was a storyline that her and Matt were a couple. Lita divorced Edge for cheating on her in real life.

Matt Hardy got shit on so bad. The WWE, his best friend, his girlfriend. The story angle screwed him over. He should've been put over at minimum.
