Funny story, I just started working at Toyota after working at dodge for awhile and someone my first week crashed into my car and the company’s paying for it and gave me 24 Camry se, honestly very surprised at how nice it is. I’d recommend everyone to take a drive and not to mention it’s pretty good looking with its body lines
@@GR8Tmate You are preaching to the choir brother. I daily drive a 1966 Chevorlet Corvair monza for this reason, it has so much character. I also am looking at a Volvo s60 as winter comes because that also has has soul to it.
It looks better than the previous generation while also looking exactly like the previous generation. I'm glad the enormous grill is bodycolor now so it doesn't stand out and look as much like a gaping mouth anymore. The red leather interior is both really cool and rather gaudy. This vehicle is such a conundrum for me if you can't tell.
Lol the body colored grilled MAKES it stand out, its hideous. Imagine the amount of rock pecks/chips with highway driving. It probably looks so terrible here bc its white, needs some black in the middle to separate it
I hate when CZcamsrs say a car is affordable without factoring in the features that people actually want/need in a car because after adding those features this car becomes far more expensive than its rivals.
All the lower trims still have the fixed headrest… so us mamas aren’t getting a deal… bc we have to go to XLE or xse to get that adjustable rear headrests and price is crazy….
The grill is awful. Idk why Toyota/Lexus refuses to make good looking vehicles. They always have to be a little bit ugly...like they have a mandatory ugly quota to meet. Yet people primarily want them for build quality, reliability and resale value which is why they continue providing subpar designs. I was in one yesterday...Toyota didn't even make the interior buttons with backlights so you can't see a multitude of buttons when it's dark. I want them to do better.
At least this looks better than the Prius they destroyed or the odd proportions of the Crown. This isn’t groundbreaking design, which is Toyota’s usual MO to make conservative changes, but it does have a nice update.
I am liking the re-design.... the front grille puts some off...I think its looks fine ... ....but seriously I have HATED the bright red color option of the XSE leather interior since last generation....its too loud and that tone looks really tacky as one solid unbroken red surface......a darker red & maybe two tone with black accents wld have been great..much better. To each his own but that interior wld def. stop me from getting an XSE if it was the only interior color they had on a dealer lot....ready to sell.
To be honest !! 38,000 plus state taxes. I wouldn't spend that on a hybrid camry. That's too much for a camry ! Seriously. You have plenty more options at 38,000 because you might as well go and get the car you really want .
NO… are you saying you trust Toyota over your Hyundai that DIED AT 27 Miles ?!?!? (Hate the new front end on the Camry… however, all the best to you guys !!! Congrats !!!) -Much Love, From : TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA 🇨🇦
Popularity is important when buying a car. It’s part of the reason I bought a rav4 because I knew it was really popular for its reliability plus I didn’t want to stand out too much on the road
No more V6’s with the Camry and 225 horsepower was bad in the 80’s and it’s awful now 😅. I love Toyota but it’s Lexus only for me. That’s where all the powerful engines are at now in the Toyota lineup
When considering an economical vehicle purchase, the Hyundai Sonata and Kia K5 offer attractive options. The base models of the carmy provide a reasonable price point, although they may have smaller screens and lack premium automatic features.
Toyota is not what it was anymore...waiting time is ridiculous and quality is not what it was before...My Brand new Toyota Corolla in 2019 beginned to rust 3 years after...

That grill is really nice! Definitely unique. Looks way better in person imo.

Because a rav4 looks dumb, always has.

Lexus has been ugly since the 2008 is250.
Because they are no longer Japanese made they are made in a farm near Georgia
Toyota refuses to abandon oversized grills, but I think on this generation it doesn't look as bad since it's bodycolor and blends in more.

God it’s so ugly. They kept the rear 80% of the car the same and made the front 20% look as bad as possible.

that grill is hideous low key
U had a BMW sonata and now this? I’m confused
Sonata was traded for Santa Fe, Hyundai bought back the Santa Fe, and now this Camry is our second car in addition to the BMW 330e
Interiors remind Kim Karodarshani's Undies
Hoping no problems with safety issues and transmissions!…
I’ll keep my civic SI thanks
Great #short!
The grille is horrible
I don't love it, but I think it's a huge improvement over the previous generation with that awful gaping black mouth.
That front grill in the white color looks awful
Im not liking the grill color. Im getting painted wood or painted brick feel. It should be black to look more sporty
I hate the grill. I liked last years better
Very nice car, real nonsense family car, and extremly well priced.
Affordable? I don't think so...
No more Toyota for me sorry....

Actually "loaded" on the XSE is $42k +
That “bOdY cOlOrEd GrIlLe” ruined the whole car
The number 1 reason you bought it’s because it “popular?”
Popularity is important when buying a car. It’s part of the reason I bought a rav4 because I knew it was really popular for its reliability plus I didn’t want to stand out too much on the road
Because we want to long-term test models that lots of people buy. If we only test niche products, then the testing isn't relevant to hardly anyone
Is this the premium package or premium plus package?
Neither. Just two-tone paint and pano roof
