- These are vinyl flat coloring dolls and they make for excellent entertainment for creative little hands. They are stitched onto a white vinyl (or felt) base layer and have a layer of clear vinyl added on top. Once completed they can be colored on with whiteboard style dry erase markers and then wiped clean to be colored again and again !
Design can be purchased in the ThreadMode shop :

Thank you for explaining in which order to put the layers of felt/vinyl and clear vinyl. as always your tutorials are easy to understand and your explanations always seem to answer whatever questions I may have. Thanks for the tute.
Thank you for the kind words 😊 I’m happy the videos are helpful.
Can you tell us what brand the serrated scissors are? Loved your video - I feel confident that I can do it now :D
Excellent, I'm sure you will do great !
The scissors with the serrated edge are "Olfa 9766 SCS-2 Stainless Steel Serrated Edge 7-Inch Scissors" that I got on amazon.
The "Kai 7205 8 Inch Professional Shears" are my favorite tho.
Could you use 2 layers cut away stabilizer or maybe decovil
I don’t think that would work well as the markers get onto the sides and back when kids are using them.
Do you have to use clear vinyl if you are using marine vinyl
I would, I find it easier to wipe off. Some people just use vinyl but I’m not sure how they erase all the ink.
Would oli fun material ok for back
I’m not sure, I have never tried that.
