  • Learn how to make these little wonky dishes with the slab building method. A great beginner pottery lesson and great for kids who want to learn ceramics too.

I want to start doing handbuilt pottery but the most intimidating steps for me are firing and glazing. How long do you wait before firing? Can you wait too long? Do you fire once, then glaze, then fire again? What do you need to consider when it comes to glazing? Types of clay vs types of glazes vs fire temperature? And most importantly, how do you manage all of that when you have to rent klint space? All these questions make me hesitate to start even though I know I would love it!

Heya! I have videos about both bisque and glaze firings which I think will really help you - check those out and let me know any questions you have after that 🥰
