It's so sad that students find history boring or uninteresting. For me, it was my favorite subject. If all history teachers could teach in the form of storytelling like Nakuul did, I think students would love this subject. Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqullah Khan, and many others are not talked about a lot. The beautiful friendship they shared is never talked about. I am so proud of India's glorious history. Kahan hai ab aisi dosti ki misaal!

One of the things that resonated with me was about using our national heroes into our everyday analogies or as metaphors. Maybe it starts with teaching history in schools in more interesting ways or initiatives like Jan gan man ….something to ponder over! Interestingly sipping my black coffee is how I listened to this episode and always believe that we all have a true purpose in life. Finding that purpose and living for that should be our goal. Nish and Nox take a bow - that was a powerful segment. NM’s storytelling ability and how you move from one language to the other with ease is par excellence!!

Thanks for doing this you guys ! When we were in school n we read about Ram Prasad Bismil or Ashfaqullah Khan we thought of them as great men, ofcourse which they r but to think about how they were just normal people like us but way more courageous , way more brave than us.
They were not just freedom fighters but somebody's son , brother ,sister , lover they were just like us, but they were selfless they put the nation first .I hate it how patriotism has been made into a display of certain things .We stand on free soil due to the sacrifices of these brave people may we strive to build a nation which can honour their sacrifices. May every Ram Prasad n every Ashfaqullah Khan feel at home in our country .
