    Other great Motley Crue songs:
"Primal Scream" just cause it has so much stomp and swagger to it. Also really hard to sit still because that swampy groove will make you want to dance.
"Looks That Kill" from their 80s hair metal heyday.
    "Live Wire".
Another great adrenaline fueled high energy song like "Kick Start My Heart".
And one of my very favorite Motley Crue songs, "Hooligans Holiday", comes from their criminally underrated eponymous album featuring their sadly too-short-lived collaboration with momentary new lead singer John Corabi.
Vince Neil quit Motley Crue to pursue a solo career, and John brought in not only a great raspy voice with a ton of vocal firepower, he's also a great song writer and rhythm guitarist in his own right and just took the Crue gang in another direction.
Rumor was they were going to call the band something totally different because John took them in a really more alt rock direction than Motley Crue were known for.
Their record label insisted on keeping the Motley Crue name, even though that album is barely recognizable as a Motley Crue album to begin with.
(Rumor was guitarist Mick Mars enjoyed recording with John Corabi so much that he'll be recording with John on John's upcoming solo album.
Mick supposedly said that the Crue album featuring John Corabi was the most fun he'd had recording a Motley Crue album in a long time.
Personally, I never get tired of hearing "Hooligan's Holiday.")
Actually, maybe not surprisingly, Vince Neil's solo album, at least the first one, has a strong Motley Crue vibe to it.
Probably the best song on the album is "You're Invited (But Your Friend Can't Come)" except that, the better version of the song is the original version that went with the soundtrack to the Brendan Frasier/Pauly Shore movie Encino Man.
Steve Stevens redid the guitar parts in the studio for the album version and, as great a guitarist as Steve is?
He totally wrecked the guitar on that song with these over-wrought synthetic stun gun guitar sounds that are just too obnoxious.
Hence why I recommend the Encino Man soundtrack version.
"Sister of Pain" is also a great Vince Neil solo album hit single worth checking out.
And since I mentioned Steve Stevens, I highly recommend Steve's own hit single Atomic Playboys with his band of the same name.
Great kick ass adrenaline fueled high energy song and a very badass video.
("I am NOT an Atomic Playboy!")
    Nice reaction video again guys.

Last week he bought me a fantastic microphone, and that was one of the songs we did while practicing. I love that song!!! My two grandsons are nine and ten years old and are starting to get into music. The ten year old plays keyboard, and has been told by his music teacher that he has perfect pitch, which is very rare for a kid to have that at his age. They told his dad that one in 10,000 have perfect pitch. He did YYZ on keyboard while his dad was on lead guitar. He did great!! The nine year old is playing the drums, and he does terrific too. Check out the song "Bad Motor Scooter" by the band Montrose to learn where that guitar intro came from. Montrose was a band that influenced countless other bands that came after in the late '70's and 80's. Eddie Van Halen loved the band and they used Montrose producer for their debut album. Tommy Lee of Motley Crue incorporated Montrose song "Rock Candy" into his drum solo. Sammy Hagar got his start as the lead singer for Montrose and he wrote Bad Motor Scooter. Sammy's band also does a killer version on their live album "All Night Long" and it features a killer twin guitar dual.

Between the age of 16-23 this was part of the soundtrack to my life, following bands up and down the country, sleeping in train stations, bus stations, car parks wherever I could,no mortgage,no responsibilities.
My favourite band of all time are a Welsh band called Tigertailz, they played this sort of music but I preferred them to the Crue.
I used to follow them up and down the UK from 87 to them breaking up in the 90s.
Then In 2005 they reformed and I went to Cardiff to see them,we met up with people who had been fans and we had got to know from the message boards, anyway they were brilliant and in 88 I would of been then going to a local Rock club and then setting off to the next gig.
But in 2005 I turned to one of the lads from the message board and said"I can't wait to get to my hotel and have a brew (tea)",and I thought f**k it I have got old lol, luckily he said "thank f**k for that,I feel the same".

The spinning cage with Tommy Lee in it with him jumping on a bungee rope above the crowd, released, and free fell into the crowd. He crowd surfed all the way back to the stage and was missing most of his clothes when he got there lmao. Mick playing on a rising column into the air with the guitar out in front of him laid flat and ending with a leap into the air, a slide on his knees to the crowd, and never missed a note. Great times, awesome memories, and simply a great band that night. The "Faster Pussycats" opened for them.

I became a Crue fan in 6th grade when Shout was released. All the boys had Crue posters in their lockers and girls had Duran Duran posters.

So...excellent song for Motley Crüe. With the talk box. Someone else mentioned a talk box trifecta with Rocky Mountain Way by Joe Walsh.
I agree with that, but would also throw in "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith as another talk box classic from the 70s.
Really, there are quite a few great songs that feature the talk box.
I like Bon Jovi's hit "It's My Life" for cool talk box, and the video kills.
Bon Jovi definitely have killer talk box in their huge hit "Living on a Prayer" mostly because guitarist Richie Sambora is just so adept at using it and the talk box really just fits in so nicely wherever it gets added.
In fact, Google Talk Box and you can find several lists of great songs that feature the talk box.
But, no need since I did that already for you:
"Top 10 Talk Box Songs. 'Haitian Divorce' Steely Dan.
'Pigs (Three Different Ones)' Pink Floyd. 'Kickstart My Heart' Motley Crue.
    'Those Shoes' Eagles.
'Do You Feel Like We Do' Peter Frampton.
'Hair of the Dog' Nazareth. 'Show Me the Way' Peter Frampton.
'Livin' on a Prayer' Bon Jovi."
Some of these I already mentioned but anyway.
Another Frampton Comes Alive hit featuring the talk box "Show Me The Way".
And that killer Nazareth song "Hair of the Dog" with that snarling, vicious, evil, mean, and nasty talk box all throughout
    ("Now you're messin' with a
    Son of a B*itch!").
