They weren't allowed to match the height of the existing roof? Planning laws are weird in UK
Can I extend over my garage where the roof is also shared with my neighbour’s garage too
Usually there’s a partition wall so you can just extend upwards from there and put flashing on the wall to waterproof the joint between your wall and the neighbours roof.
How much time it took you to complete the job?
About 6-8 weeks; depending upon the internal design and finishing work it may take a few weeks extra
