- Randomised Gaming takes an in depth look at the many problems, issues and errors, Xbox 360, One & Series S/X users can face when buying Xbox 360 games. This is a must watch as our editor looks at the mounting number of issues Xbox 360 owners can face, is it time Microsoft rethink the shutting down of the store? On the 29th of July not only will key free patch DLC no longer be available, but as it stands some content downloads are disappearing from users download list while others refuse to download or work at all. Not to mention the fact games are being delisted from the store even before the shutdown.
We are raising a number of consumer issues in this video to help raise awareness of the issue and that this in turn help people become aware of the problems and start asking Microsoft some tough questions. Many of these issues need to be fixed.

Can you do a video about Xbox 360 Games with DLCs which got removed way before the coming shutdown of the marketplace - especially with DLCs that provided additional Gamerscore for the Games.
For example Overlord (1), Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and - what saddens me the most: Batman: Arkham Origins. These are three games which I bought a few day ago without knowing they had such DLCs… 😢
We are thinking of doing a video on delisted content and some of the harder to get titles on the system, but that would be at the end of our coverage, as we want to cover the games that can still be purchased first.

Yes we are trying to spread the word as much as people on here and on twitter, the more people that watch this the more chance of some action by Microsoft.

If platforms can’t support digital purchases in perpetuity, then it’s going to be hard to justify ‘buying’ digital games at full price or at all.
Yes there is a real debate about this now, due to the 3DS, Wii U and now Xbox 360 store shutdown. These services should be set up as evergreen or at least archived at the end life so all uses could access them. May people are being turned off by digital purchases and there is some debate about if you even own them at all. Discovery nearly pulled all it content from PlayStation recently which meant it would be removed from people libraries.
Barring BG3, I have never paid more than a few bucks for any digital game. Saw this coming a mile away.
We all did, but you have no choice if you want to play certain games and DLC that are digital only.
It's been hard to justify for over a decade now. It costs the same (and in many cases, more than) as the physical copies, despite not having to pay for production and distribution of a physical product. And 12 year old games (like CoD Black Ops 2, for example) are still up on the store for $40, which is absolutely ridiculous. There's no reason a digital game should ever be the same price as a physical game, cause you don't truly own it, and you don't get anything tangible. Digital was never a better alternative in any way.

This is why i have modded my consoles. There's archived games, dlc's, XBLA, XBLI games and title updates out there
That's looking like the only way to go now, same with the Nintendo Wii U now Nintendo have killed the online for all games.
Are you able to use your main Xbox profile with that?
@@KFXG yes but no. just dont go online with it or your banned. best idea is to make a new account on the hacked console with the same name and leave it offline.
Regarding Xbox 360 digital game codes, I was able to redeem Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja codes off a card from an old Kinect bundle just a month or two ago. In December I was able to redeem a Sgt Johnson Pre-Order DLC code for Halo ODST that was supposed to have expired in like in 2010. Last Summer I was able to redeem a Dark Souls (Xbox 360 version) code from a card, well after it had been delisted from the store. This is from NA btw.
Thanks for the information the most recent code we used on the 360 was last year. So it seems most codes should still work at present.
You can still buy games as backward compatible , then go to settings / download history / Download again, I think they are keeping that intact after the store shuts down.
I've got many of these problems, but I also have a new one for you. When scrolling (slowly) down my "Download History" on my Xbox 360, I get to a listing that appears to crash the screen for some reason. So, any downloads beyond that "item" are also lost to me. I don't have a good clue as to what it could be, other than the listings just before it. I first thought it could be a problem with just the sheer number of items being returned, as if the call was accidentally capped at, say, 500, but it is breaking in the mid 800's for me. I talked to another player who is having this problem, but it is happening repeatedly to them at a much lower number. I think it is a third-type of element that is essentially 'Content not available' but of a level that is just crashing the Download History. I have noticed that if I try to scroll my "Download History" quickly, it'll crash due to that too.
That is very worrying that is happening, just to check are you moving slowly through the list as we know scrolling rapidly through the list will crash it and we have to slowly move down through ours one by one which takes ages. It sounds like you and that other person downloaded the same item, that has likely been removed from the history which is causing the issue. That needs to be fix, have you raised it with Xbox support and did they do anything?
@@RandomisedGamingCZcams I haven't yet. I didn't think of going to Xbox Support but I was thinking of writing Phil directly on Twitter. I'll give Xbox Support a try. And yes I was going slow. It's a pain to repeat just because it's scrolling down 800+ times, but I've done it twice.
Certainly tweet phil as well as the more people who complain to him the more chance we have of getting action taken.
You're not the only one to go through this problem. It happens to me as well. I can only assume due to the length of content that's been downloaded over the years, it makes it hard to keep up with the scrolling through years of content. It doesn't matter if you go slow or use the L and R triggers to skip through it faster, it will still crash. I've found no solution but only perseverance and hope that it doesn't crash. I've made it down to the bottom of the list only a couple of times. Also want to add SpongeBob Truth or Square is another game that won't download on a Xbox 360.

Yes it really is a showcase of the horrors of the digital future to come and raises the question would you trust Microsoft with your future digital platforms when this is the state they want to leave the 360 in when they shut the store for it down. We will reach out to some of the consumer bodies to see if they want to do anything in the next few weeks.
@@RandomisedGamingCZcams IMHO Xbox360's digital store will be the first (Major) digital platform to go down horribly and reveal the ugly face of digital "ownership". It has been intentionally delayed, because of potential backlash from the customers. But this summer alot of MS customers will sober up to the harsh reality. All-digital Series X without the disc drive does paint a grim picture. Still not 100% sure we will get Nextgen Xbox or PS with a disc (overpriced) addon. They want so bad to take it from us, preciousss
What really pisses me off is that when I was younger I never had the ability to buy dlc/items or digital games and now that im older I wanted to revisit these things to experience the stuff I missed out on as a kid but im just shit out of luck because microsoft refuses to let me give them my money. Guess ill have to mod or get a modded xbox 360 at some point to get it all for free...
I’m missing robotron 2084 , original Tron , root beer tapper , smash tv , poker smash , track and field , Burger time ,Russian attack and a few more titles. I purchased these titles many of them when the arcade store launched. Back then only two games were released a week . So not only are these games gone from my account they don’t even show up in my purchase history. Total BS .
Just to confirm and we know it's a silly question, but you are still using your original Xbox 360 account that purchased them? That's pretty awful to hear, those Midway games got delisted a long time ago. Did you buy them on the original dashboard or the blades version of the dash? Might be a case Microsoft lost some of the early 2005/2006 purchase records. As we mentioned in the video the early receipts only confirmed you bought points not what you spent them on.
@@RandomisedGamingCZcams you’re correct. To buy games during the arcade store launch, you had to purchase MS points first then the game . I currently have 600+ digital games . Im slowly rebuying physical copies to preserve my games . I love digital games , I just don’t trust Microsoft will protect our purchases.
We explained the points system in the video, all you can do is ring support and contact the various people at Microsoft on sites like twitter. Doubt very much support will do anything, do share our video links on websites like twitter to raise awareness of this video as the more people that see it the more chance we will get some action from Microsoft.
This may be a stupid question, but did you look in your download history? Your purchase history does not allow you to re-download games. Also, you may need to scroll VERY slowly as it has the tendency to crash, and you need to start scrolling again at the most recent downloads.
@@CrankyMoogle yes and I scrolled to the end . It took awhile since I went back to the beginning. Although 3 years of Microsoft point purchase is missing totally.
I’d recommend full house poker being that you are able to use your Xbox 360 avatar and can play multiplayer with friends on their avatars which seems awesome
You won't have multiplayer when the resetting of the entire internet occurs in the next year. There's nothing you could waste more money on in the world right now than online multiplayer and live services.

Unfortunately I am really saddened as I missed the opportunity to buy Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, now I am locked to the physical versions. When they'll fails... :'(
Thanks for the comment, so far the video doing really well, as a smaller channel we ain't go to get 100k views in a day sadly, but do share this video out there on social media to help raise awareness. Sadly Left for Dead 1 & 2 got delisted last year and that means you can't by any of the DLC any more. The first game did get a game of the year edition, but that only included the free DLC and didn't include Crash Course or the The Sacrifice. Here in the UK I noticed the listing for both games is still up on the marketplace website, wonder is they are still in the store , but can only be searched for now? Some reports suggest you might be able to buy the DLC in the game, but we hear, conflicting reports on that some said it worked some said it didn'

We are currently grabbing the DLC for the games we own and still don't have. But we are looking at what the DLCs add, so the extra colours on Arcane Hearts 3 will be one we give a miss. DLC that add in game modes and achievements we are picking up.

Thank you for explaining how to run the XBL Indie Games. I kept getting the same error code and could not run them. Hopefully this solves the issue for anyone else having this problem. Very well done video and I hope we all can keep gaming with what we want.
Thanks for the comment, it was a late minute additional to the video after we ran into the same problem, it's affecting everyone we believe. Kudos to those who had already done videos on it, but we wanted to cover it as well, as it just isn't widely known at all that the indie games aren't working correctly on 360. Glad to hear, you've been able to play your indie games again using that method, just hope it lasts.

So we confirmed another game with a compatibility pack is Armored Core V this pack seems to be largely for the DLC. Now this doesn't show up in the A-Z any more, but is still in the store if you search for it with bing. We were able to buy the DLC over the weekend which adds in extra workshops 5-9 and it also carries over into Armored Core Verdict Day as well if you also own that.
Thank you so much for addressing all this. I've noticed a lot of these issues for a while. Especially when it comes to buying dlc on xbox one/series games (rock band 4 & dance central spotlight) and it not showing up on my download list on 360 for the older games. But when i buy songs on rock band 4 on my ps4 they show up on my download list on ps3 so i can use the songs on the older games.
There is certainly something going on with buying Xbox 360 games and DLC on the Xbox One / Series X not showing up on the Xbox 360 afterwards, when it should do.

These are very serious issues, and it CLEARLY shows that Microsoft not only doesn't give a crap about it's customers, they are also breaking the law

The more people that know about it the better, please do spread the world, I can confirm we are not linked to the channel you mention if they sounds similar to Riven our editor they were likely from Berkshire in the UK.
To mention, All Arcade Live games must be downloaded and saved to a jump drive in case of a total failure of your HDD or Xbox360. Although, you also may need the consoles ID number on it as well, so if you have a hard drive die, you gotta make an exact copy of the games you own in your console.
Very good point, we have them backed up to an external drive, but I think we need a full second backup, there's an old PC saying "Data not backup at least three times is already lost" and it's a rule even we need to do more here at Randomised Gaming.
Im a huge racing fan im not shocked that all of the racing games dlcs got delisted because of the car licensing. It really sucks but thats the truth. Just means if i ever get any racing games on the xbox 360 you wont be able to complete it all without the dlcs
Pretty much every license game has this issue, be it cars, films or music. We've been looking at the Rock Band games which require certain DLC songs for some achievements.

Yes, some songs have been delisted, but if you buy them from the 360 store you can use many of the DLCs with the later Rock Band games including 4 on the Xbox One. Due to license issues the songs weren't moved to the Xbox One store. Harmonix have said this is going to be a problem. However, now that Rock Band is being shoe horned into Fortnite's creative mode, it looks bad for the future of the series.

Great video man, thanks for making it. I’ve had a major problem with my 360 for years involving the indie games. Purchased in 2012 probably, only half of them are playable. The other half are registered as demos. Castleminer Z? Playable. Total miner Forge? Naaah. I know it’s super specific, thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
That's another issues we don't have, but we haven't re-download any indies games since the shutdown, still have the original installs and I'm wondering if we did we would have the same issue.
Castleminer Z is on PC but you cant get your old Avatar imported sadly...

Not that I know of, that's why we included all the ones we know of in the video to date, there will be more and a few have already been fully delisted. Best we look at doing a list of all free DLC still in the store at present.
@@RandomisedGamingCZcams in very few instances I’ve had issues downloading the small updates on 360, usually during holiday. I wouldn’t doubt that games with title updates may also experience issues in the near future.

In-game currency is the stuff you earn INSIDE a game, whereas for something like Rage 2 it's an Out-game currency as your paying from OUTSIDE the game to get it, kinda like Multibucks right now in the finals or VC from the NBA2K games...
of course ninja gaiden black has this issue. i got hung up on too. Thank you for making this.

Ive bought every remaining xbla game including dlc and will be moving onto 360 on demand games next.
Only big issues ive had have been with 3 games. De blob 2 (wont Download) earthworm jim hd (been hard delisted but still availability on xbox one store) and battlefield 1943....which has now been permanently shut.
Only question i have post shutdown is will i have to boot up every game before the shutdown so it downloads title updates? Or title updates shouldnt be an issue post shutdown?
From what we understand title updates should remain and work, as if they got removed almost all the DLC on 360 would no longer work.
Something to add. If you download and play a free trial of a arcade game, the achievements will now show up in your history like it was a full unlock game. Tried this with a trial I had of Soul Calibur HD to see if I can purchase the full game and it's now in my history.
Also my trail version of MVC2 is the full version as the unlock option is missing
Thanks for the information, just to check you are 100% sure you never purchased Marvel vs Capcom 2 on your 360, wonder if any other trials for delisted games now show up as the full one. As you said the achievements didn't used to show up in your games history, I played the 360 trial version of the enjoyable Masquerade and will check if this issues happens to any of our accounts.
@@RandomisedGamingCZcams I'm going say I'm 85% certain that I never purchased it. I tend to review my achievements every few months to figure out a play order and I never saw MVC2 show up in that list. Didn't even show up in my download history, only the trial version of the game. Tried to look through my purchase history but that stops at 2011 for some reason? But between 2011 and the end of 2013 I see no sign of it in my history.
If i did purchase it, it could be showing up as one of the "Content Not Available" in my download history, but I can't really confirm that.
Interesting and you are also saying your 360 history won't go passed 2011? When did you first buy games on your 360 console?
Started buying games back in 06/07. I think I figured it out. Ether it was showing up as "Content Not Available" before but it's showing up normal now or i missed it when scrolling through my download history. Found it around, I want to say around 2012. Just before I downloaded WWE2k12 DLC. I ether used MP or bought the code from a Gamestop?
Purchase history before 2013 has a lot of MP purchases but not saying what they were used for, so guessing no real tracking is that way. Sorry for the false alarm on that.
I just downloaded the VF5 - Final Showdown Trial and when i checked my Xbox profile from the website it does show up as the last game played under my achievements.
12:53 - No wonder I'm not able to finish downloading it! I'm in the USA and experience this problem too! I had experienced this similarly with a DLC for Metro Last Light, but at least when it retried to redownload it would throw an error menu at the end. I swear I did download Deblob 2 before on my Xbox 360, maybe it was always affected.
Maybe when it first came out, but certainly since when it came out with Games with Gold, but it does look like it may never have worked.
@@RandomisedGamingCZcams - That's what I'm thinking that it's always been affected. I remember when I redeem games for Gold I would download them straight away both on my Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Right everyone, while working to finished the latest video this week we have discovered that the Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show season pass for the Xbox 360 is broken. Do not buy this season pass, we are currently battling for a refund from Microsoft and I will put up a quick video over the next few days on it just to warn people.
The Scene It Box Office Smash game is deliisted but it's DLC has 250 gamerscore and is still purchasable for $7 on the Xbox 360 Store Website.
That' might be a case where you can only find the DLC if you search for it directly in the Bing search.
Ive noticed that when I bought games that were on sale with the tag "with game pass" those games would not appear on xbox 360 even
Seems game pass discounts & purchases are xbox one and onward only.
The good thing is you can get a refund for them and then buy the xbox 360 version which works across the entire xbox ecosystem

@@RandomisedGamingCZcams The game was Sid Meier's Pirates for the original xbox, I bought it "with game pass" discount and I could not access it on the 360 I was prompt to buy it again. After calling xbox support I got a refund and bought it on the 360 without the discount and I can access it across all xbox generations.
I also got the dlc for the original dead space free "with game pass" and I can only access that content on xbox one & series X/S, when I try to download it for 360 I get prompt to buy it.
Thanks for confirming, it seems any 360 DLC given away with Game Pass didn't give you it on 360. We got all the Skate 3 DLC free via Game Pass and that doesn't appear on the 360, only the Xbox One/Series
About 6 months ago I was able to download assassin's creed liberation with a code but as we get closer to close I think it'll start erroring for most codes...fantastic video alot of great info on this it's so sad to see so much paid content will be lost I guess I should really tamper down what i' going to buy download wise disc is the only true safe bet sadly and even then I worry about disc rot...

I had the same mindset for awhile not 360 is my last console that is my last xbox console. Too many issues and i know they wont fix or a slew of new problems with a new console
Also, dlc for gears of war 3 is free on xbox one. I think its the marcus fenix one, but after you download it for free on your xbox one, it will not pop up in your purchase history on xbox 360 and you’ll have to pay for it.
Another 2 games that are free on xbox one are the hardwood spades and the other game to it. But if you downloaded it from xbox one for free you still have to buy it on xbox 360.

Thank for the information wasn't aware some of those games were free on Xbox One, same thing happened with the Skate 3 DLC it was given away with Game Pass awhile back on Xbox One, but if you got it with Game Pass it didn't appear on the Xbox 360 download history and had to be purchased.

I have been able to use any codes I have found. I’ve purchased several games with DLC in box and it’s all worked: NG Yaiba, Most Wanted 2012, NG 3 season pass, DOA5 season Pass, Black-Ops 1 code included with 360 Black-Ops 3 etc.

I just checked on NG: Black and I live in NA. Purchased on Series X a few years back, errors out upon select I g in download history.
I purchased a nice 360 a few months back. The big issue I have is the download list just crashes after awhile while scrolling through. It’s preventing me from from reaching some very old delisted XBLA games I have like Double Dragon and various midway games.
Another strange issue I have is opposite a problem you have in the UK. Here I can purchase games using a credit card still; however if I have funds on my acct I can only use those on 360 if they cover the entire purchase amount including sales tax. So I can go the store purchase a game for $9.99 expecting to have the $10 on my acct applied to the purchase. This doesn’t happen my credit card is instead charged $10 + sales tax. The system seemingly only uses your accounts wallet only if the funds on the account cover the entire purchase price including sales tax.
Have you tried going through the download list very slowly? That the only way we can navigate our list these days, but we did have a couple of people say they have a crash at a set point where one item crashes the list outright and they can't get passed it. Did the 360 used to do select payments between wallet and card? I think it did thinking back.

I’m pretty sure the 360 did and does still allow you to select payment methods at check out. The problem, at least what I think is the problem is that for most of the platforms life, in my local area charging sales tax on digital purchases was nonexistent. Even today buying something for $10 on the console it does not show me the full purchase price including sales tax till afterwards. I think this is because the console was never built to deal with sales tax in mind and was forcibly tacked on in certain markets by local lawmakers. That is why I think it has an issue of not charging a chosen method of payment because it thinks $10 of balance on my acct is enough.
Corrections from Riven, when I mentioned Forza Motorsport 7 being online only. That was an error I was talking about Forza Motorsport 2023 so number 8 in fact which is online only. Also made a Freudian slip when I mentioned Homer Louis "Boots" Randolph III name, yes sorry about that. Oh and the Forza Horizon 2 DLC that didn't work was the Day One release car pack, we got a new and sealed one a few months back.

I'm from Canada and having the download fail issue with both De Blob 2 and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell. Both were claimed from Games with Gold. In my case what happens is they'll download, but the files show as corrupted on the HDD and, needless to say, neither will start. Both however download and play fine on my One X. .
Additionally, I'm having a similar issue with the Outpost Kaloki Challenge of the Gods DLC. I purchased it either one my Xbox One or from the Microsoft store, I don't recall which. Interestingly though, on the 360 Marketplace (both the browser version and the console version) it still displays a price rather than "Already Purchased" message, as though Id never bought it. However, if I go to purchase it, it doesn't charge me and instead queues the download, as though it's recognizing that I already own it and am trying to redownload. From there I have the same issue as with de Blob 2 and SR: GooH. I've even tried downloading it from my Download History on 360 but the result is the same. The other DLC for the game install correctly on 360. It also installs correctly on Xbox One

I’d gone through and re-downloaded everything I thought I should a few months back, just in case they were planning on removing the ability to do that… And yeah, it seems it’ll be inconsistent and tricky. I _really_ hope Microsoft has some solution for 360 preservation in the future, whether it’s expanding the backwards compatibility program as it is, or focusing on virtualizating the OS itself so one can boot up an “Xbox 360 mode” application on their modern Xboxes (and Windows 10/11 PCs??). I know the servers have to come down someday, but Microsoft really does have an obligation to help all of us-the developers, publishers, and players-with this issue. The way the 360 dashboard and marketplace are organized is NOT how it deserves to remain forevermore, _especially_ after half of the functions are deprecated and lead to dead ends. Man, images aren’t gonna load, ad placements are gonna be blank wastes of screen space, it’s gonna be so depressing to look at and browse through…
On that note, Microsoft really needs to give the Xbox 360 one last major UI overhaul to simplify what’s staying, remove/hide what isn’t, and make every function quicker and more convenient. That download history list is barely functional, so a library page similar to modern Xboxes would be ideal. I dunno, you probably cover a lot of this in the video, but I’ll be watching it soon.
Please do watch, we cover a lot of what you talk about, the 360 Download history is awful to navigate and if you have a large history it is a nightmare to scroll through. Some people have commentated they have fixed crashes in there history. I clicked on the FIFA19 logo in the store just to show the error it showed as the game is now delsited.
Would love a final ui update! 360 dash is hard enough to navigate with lots of digital games. When it finally loses online support, we'll lose pins too. What a nightmare that will be.
That would be helpful, but sadly we suspect Microsoft can no longer patch the system. Word of warning we has someone comment, if you have a pin linking to something that gets delisted in the store. Then that pin will become undeleable.
Not sure about the pins? Usually a delisted game automatic removes the pin. Certain games the page for it stays up even if the game itself is unavailable.

Sounds like you don't know the Xbox 360 that well, yes the console does work offline, it was made that way to support retails discs. You will still be able to play retail and digital games you previously purchased, but you won't be able to buy DLC or new digital games after the store is closed. The online is still up and running it's just the store that is being closed.
I have xbox 360 disc version of batman origins but never got any dlc, it has been total delisted, however i did managed to located some unused dlc cards, deathstrokes and blackmask challenge packs along with some other costumes dlc cards and i can confirm although delisted from xbox stores all the dlc unused cards i had worked.😊
I would really like to get the remaining x2 missing dlc's, cold cold heart and initiation or even a season pass if anybody has a spare code they no longer want before store closes.

Awesome video, this goes to show how much Microsoft left the 360 to rot, I mean the last time they did an update for the consoles was in 2019, and they should definitely fix some of their issues with content already purchased I mean I never had an issue with de blob 2 downloading onto my 360 however the problems I had with other games which is SpongeBob SquarePants truth Square that one downloads but once it gets to 80% being completed it comes back corrupt and then the second one for me is Earthworm Jim I cannot download that at all on the Xbox 360 and every time I go to download it it gives me an error message yet I have no trouble downloading it on the backwards compatibility version

All Xbox 360 games you purchased should appear in your download history on your account, but as detailed in the video sometimes that isn't the case and you may have downloads show as Content not available. Some downloads are also failing to download as well as was the case with the retail version of de Blob 2.

I feel like Microsoft has done their best to work with publishers/developers to make games backwards compatible during the xbox one era. I'm sure the analytics show its more expensive to keep the 360 servers up not to mention exploits that can arise in the future. Id imagine the xbox one marketplace will be available in the future for awhile.
This is a multi billion dollar company that doesn't care about the consumer, if they are doing this to the 360 and leaving it in a state where you can't recover your content what does that say about there futuir product? The fixes to them are pocket change and they could update the store in a way that means you would just have to buy 360 games from an external website. The main issues here is Microsoft are starting to dump the Xbox hardware and just want shot of it. The first stop is the 360, followed by the One & Series X.
All games that are backwards were mostly available to purchase on the Xbox store unless it was a licensing issue. They already worked with the publishers to list those. What's left on the 360 isn't going to be backwards and old storefronts. It's not like steam on one unified store front.
I have a problem with my switch. If I find a game with a demo on my pc and I want to download it, it does not download on my switch. So then I find this game in the online switch store but then I can not find a demo ... ???

Strangely, The Crysis 2 map pack is available on the Xbox One Store but Delisted on the 360 Store. All the other Trailers, Themes, and Picture packs remain on the 360 store. This is additionally weird considering Crysis 3 and all content is delisted on both new and old stores.
Another thing, I purchased Deadfall Adventures for 360 on the Xbox One store but it was never added to my 360 download history. Also, it's CE DLC is priced differently on Xbox One store than it is on 360 store.
Last thing, Omega Five Xbla game is available for purchase on Xbox One store but not the 360 Store.

Interesting to see there are a few DLCS & games delisted on 360 and now on Xbox One. Omega Five was delisted on everything awhile back didn't realise it had been relisted, but only on Xbox One. Interesting to see the pricing change on Deadfall, we've seen a few games where that's happen between 360 to One. Tom Clany's End War has one of the DLC's free on 360, but paid for on Xbox One. That's something else to keep an eye on, we are seeing a lot of report of people buying 360 games on the One/Series and not then getting them on the 360.
I know of two games you have to use the search function because they won't show up otherwise. Those two are: Fatal Fury Special and Tron. Both of those games are also not backwards compatible.
My doa 2 ultimate won’t download on my 360 after my disc refusing to boot up despite BEING a BC title. Yet it refuses to also download the digital version. I am in Australia btw.

They were sadly delisted some time ago along with many great games like Marble Madness, X-MEN arcade.

So I live in Poland and I tried to buy the DLC for Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 (for preservation purposes). To my surprise, the DLC was nowhere to be seen when I was browsing through the 360 store's browser despite it being apparently relisted after many years. After doing some research I found out it IS in fact available to download... but only in the UK, USA, Australia and Japan. Microsoft, why do you do this? You made me buy the game the second time for the PS3 just to get the DLC! I didn't have this problem with Unleashed. But I do have this problem with Jet Set Radio 2012 re-release. Couldn't buy it on 360, had to get it on PS3.

As for Sonic 2006, I did some more searching via Microsoft's own Bing browser and it looks like the game isn't only available to just those four countries I mentioned earlier (USA, Japan, UK and Australia) but also Canada, Mexico, Columbia, Chile, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, New Zealand, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Greece. That's a lot more than I thought, I'll admit, but that still leaves countries like Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, South Africa, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, China, Argentina and Brazil with no access for no good reason.
No, once a game is removed from sale it is no longer available on all Xbox systems, there are only a handful of games that don't follow that rule, which got delisted on 360 and are still up or got a new version on Xbox One/Series.
You can change the region of your Xbox account to buy games that are not available in your country. The problem is with downloading it on 360. On Xbox One and Series they will download with no problem, but on 360 some games may stop downloading at 80% because of your ip not matching your region. But if you use vpn it will download just fine.
I purchased the split second dlc but the game doesnt recognise it at all, even though its in my downloads.
Thanks for that, we were going to buy the DLC, have you downloaded the latest patch for the game or isn't it giving you the patch. Riven are editor worked on Split Second, but the DLC came out over a year later. Make sure the game and DLC are together on the base Xbox hard drive as well to be safe. Some games don't load the DLC on an external drive or when not with the game. This happens with a couple of games, we have it refuses to load the DLC when not on the internal Xbox 360 drive.

That sounds like the patch for the game needed to see the DLC isn't downloading anymore, will investigate more , have you tried clearing the cache and seeing if there is a patch on your hard drive, removing it and seeing if it redownload. There's a chance the download may have corrupted. More likely sounds like it is broken on 360 now based based on your report.

The 360 was the last home console I ever owned, not counting the switch. It was so full of so many problems, whether it was the hardware itself or nonsense with the store. The only chance I was gonna give to the Xbone was Scalebound and they cancelled it. Phil giving empty promises every year. Microsoft hasn't learned a single thing and keeps getting worse now that I hear that they discontinued the disc drive Series X. Now I'm trying to get the few 360 games that either have terrible pc ports or the few exclusives left
Sounds like a good plan for picking up the last few game you are after on the system. Our patience has also run out with Microsoft and we won't be using the future Xbox anytime soon.

Sales have long since closed on the Xbox 360 store, nothing goes on sale now. Xbox Live Gold got the axe last year and changed to Xbox Game Pass Core. Only 360 games that go on sale now are in the Xbox One store and based on all the reports we have had if you buy them on Xbox One/Series you may not get them on 360 when you do. In short deals and sales are no longer available on the Xbox 360, you have to pay the listed price for everything.
@RandomisedGamingCZcams You can still buy 360 games through your desktop, BUT I believe need to have the cloud storage enabled for games to show up in your download history. Unfortunately that only works with backwards compatible games.
Any purchased of a digital game via the 360 marketplace website or the in console story adds the game to your download history.

With my 9TB Xbox Series X and 8 TB PlayStation 5, 600GB Nintendo Switch, 2TB PC, I can take advantage of non stop digital game sales, aswell as free games on all sides. Going digital is the secret to owning a next gen collection while saving money. I only buy Xbox 360 and Gamecube disc games because their lost and will most likely not be remastered. Anyone talking about emulation here is clearly in the wrong place for it’s unheard of, for anyone to successfully emulate all Xbox 360 games, even with a tutorial and the software. Finding the games will be like trying to find a real girlfriend online. Almost impossible 😂
Stick to the 7th gen, emulators and cracked games on pc. Non of these companies care about their previous generations.

Yes we saw, they are going to do three waves of permanent prices reductions on the console, one in June and then oddly one in late July on the 16th. Which is cutting it close, will include a note on it for our next video, which has an ETA of early next week, but not final, recording a lot of 360 games the last few days.

Still being worked on at present Riven's got a couple of planned video due for the end of the month at the latest, real life and other projects have gotten in the way. Plus the response to this one has been so good we decided we need, to partly follow up in the next video. Yes the PS3 battery is under the disc and hard drive, which makes it a royal pain to get to. As you have to take half the console apart to get to it.

U will be met with many errors , ignore them! Sometimes ex. It will say cant retrieve credit card info...i dont use credit card on my xbox account.
Also if u are going through many things on live marketplace it basically "tires out" and u will need to restart.
There will be lots of loadings, do not press any buttons or u will be met with temporary freeze or maybe permanent and have to restart again. Well maybe in some cases i will prees b or guide.
360 live is tricky in its decayed state

360 store is a mess, i won't reward microsoft for their incompetence. I got what i wanted on Steam, other stuff i'll just emulate on RPCS3 if it's multiplatform or wait for improved xbox 360 emulation.
That's understandable, we would recommend making sure to grab the free patch DLC needed for some games. Ideally we would hope we can get a U-Turn on the shutdown and that Microsoft would address these issues, but it seems unlikely they will.
Meanwhile apart from a bit of slowdown the PS3 store is fully functional 😏😅

Yes, it should do as long at it is back catalogue supported, half our library of games on Series X is games we purchased on the Xbox 360, that you can play on the Xbox One and Xbox Series.

The Darkness II digital edition has the same problem as De Blob 2. Gets to 79% install completion and resets to 0%. Now unplayable. DO NOT BUY.
