The collecting fomo is real the panic buying is real and lets go over 14 more games to pick up before prices go up on the Xbox 360. let's take a game room tour of some Xbox hidden gems, obscure titles, and even a few common titles to add to your backlog and collection in 2024. Prices have gotten insane but the games are still great if you can find them for a deal.

Don’t forget to get the DLC‘s for the games you want on the 360 store before it closes that aren’t backwards compatible because those will be gone forever. Alien colonial Marines has a decent story based DLC called stasis interrupted
Reach and ODST were eventually added to the Master Chief Collection.

@26:00 you can buy games AND basement dwell if the basement is attached to your own house :) that's why I bought a house with a basement, mainly for recording guitar quieter for my neighbors' sakes, but also to have a game room tucked away :)
Cod WaW was an honorable mention. I remember my older brother and his friends playing zombies for the first time when it came out and I was watching up stairs over the ledge petrified. The story is also fantastic, the amount of detail and attention they gave really sold it too.
i have gotten Naughty Bear, Alan Wake, Killer is Dead, and the Orange Box over the past year and those games are amazing
I randomly picked Naughty Bear Gold yesterday at my local store. It was $30.

World at War is the precursor to the Black Ops series. Some of the characters are referenced or show up in later Black Ops games. I’m excited to check out Black Ops 6 later this year. It’s apparently had a 4 year development cycle which is unheard of for CoD games now 😂

I've played Killer is Dead before at my friend's house a couple of years back, and I am currently searching for this game.
The Orange Box I know all too well, a lot of fun times playing this with friends. I never owned a copy, but I am currently looking for one.
I recently bought Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z (CIB) on eBay for $30.18 and just got it in the mail today when I got home from work. I'm a big Ninja Gaiden fan, too.
COD World at War was my high school, and what fun that was for sure, I need to get this game again as well.
I bought WET years back when I randomly walked into my local Gamestop and bought it for $9.99. It's a pretty fun game. I love the fighting and shooting sequences, If I ever meet Eliza Dushku at a con, I'm having her sign it.
I found Madacatra 2 for 2.99 years ago.
Its funny because Magna Carta 2 has a weird allure to it. I bought my copy for $30 around late 2021, thinking it was expensive at the time. But I came across it because I was originally looking for a Nier copy. after seeing the art cover and watching gameplay, I just had to have it.
Wet has suddenly skyrocketed to $100
That game could easily be found for $10 before. It's not supposed to be that good even. I have it, might actually get around to it now.
Thats ridiculous lol! Wet used to be $7 to $10 5 yrs ago. If your lucky you can still find it at Gamestop at $10.

If I could suggest a couple of great games to get for 360 it would be ‘Remember Me’ and ‘Shadows of the Damned’. Both are excellent.
Lost Odyssey on current Gen 9 store for less than $10 and some cheap DLC.
Reach is on the Master Chief Collection, but as DLC if you already got the collection. As far as Magna Carta 2 goes, its still available new at Playasia's shop
Naughty Bear Trouble in Paradise the sequel is actually on the digital game store on 360 for $14.99 CAD. You can buy it standalone. Once the store closes, your only option will be to buy the gold edition physically, or buy the original game (no DLC), but you get the main game at least. I found the original naughty bear a few a weeks ago for $5. It’s still out there…

I still have my release copy of Alan wake limited edition that came in the special packaging that looks like a novel and includes the hardcover book ‘The Alan Wake Files’. It is my all time favourite game. The sequel is a complete joke and you can’t even drive a car in it as it is all done with cutscenes lol.
It feels like a huge step backwards in most regards. The original Alan wake on 360 has perfect colors and perfect atmosphere.
The remake also has heaps of weird bugs that were never addressed.
I bought the remake which includes all the dlc in a sale for $20 on Xbox store and for that price I guess it’s not bad value.

I was shocked to check my Pricecharting list and see how much 360 has spiked. For the longest time PS3 versions were at a way higher premium than the 360 versions which was baffling since 9 times out of 10 the 360 version was better.

Prices were going up pretty sharply before the CZcamsrs started posting their videos. They were actually late to the trend. Of course they only exacerbated the rise.

Its easy to blame a special set of people for the price going up, but its not necessarily just their fault.
CZcamsrs have been talking about hidden gems and weird unique games, since like 2015.
If you have been on the Internet, then you should have also known that game prices go up. Its just a matter of time and people willing to pay for it.
If people weren't paying outrageous prices, then the scalpers and resalers would be force to lower their prices.
Not to mention you can take your time and buy the games cheap at gaming stores, garage sales etc..
we aren't force to spend $50+ on a 360 game.
I literally found a copy of Transformers Fall of Cybertron for $7, at a pawn shop like 2 weeks ago.
It's also the sellers fault.
@NuclearAbyss you're right I just feel like the way many people are phrasing these games it sabotaging the prices by saying stuff along the lines of "you better get this before its more expensive" or something I've seen is people using made up numbers for a games price. While I get that games just naturally go up in price there is a current scare going around being promoted by youtubers so people are rushing to get them at their current price "before they go up more" and others are just buying it all up and relisting for crazy prices. A game example is operation darkness. The game a week or 2 ago was only 80 after going up slowly over the past few years but suddenly blew up over 200$ now.
sadly prices already went up for good half of those games. Now Alan Wake - you can just pick the remastered version if you want to play it. The difference are very small, so that is hard core collectors only. Halo and Call of duty are still down. Otherwise everything else is already up in the sky.
I mean I just ordered killer is dead for $27 so that one isn't bad. I really dont think a game is super overpriced until it is going for at least around the price it was new.
Imo any Japanese game on the 360 is going to go up. Enchanted arms is still cheap but most other RPGs have gone up. I started collecting early last year and for some games I was only 1-2 weeks ahead of the prices going nuts.
Now is not the time to buy unless you catch someone slipping up and get a good deal. Now is the time to consider selling into the hype.

I feel like there is a concentrated effort by everybody on CZcams and resellers to increase the price of Xbox360 games. That's all I'm seeing everywhere. It's all a bit sus. 😎
Well if that’s the case I’m sure doing a poor job of getting any money out of it lol. I noticed this phenomenon back in early March when I couldn’t find Culdcept saga. Then I noticed it happening with Tenchu z. Now every game is going nuts. But you can still find “deals” I saw ninja blade complete on eBay for 35 dollars earlier today so the Kabal of resellers hasn’t found every copy yet

I honestly think we might be looking a new phenomenon here. The Xbox 360 was very popular. It also was heavily invested with online multiplayer as were the players at the time (like myself) a lot of single player experiences slipped through the cracks. Also the games basically still look and play like modern games. Especially for console plebs like myself. Then add to that I’ve been collecting for over a decade now so these “prices” for cib copies of 20-50 dollars don’t feel like anything compared to the stupid money I’ve dropped on nes, snes and ps1. And add to the fact that modern gaming has largely disappointed lately and you have a perfect storm of people interested and willing to buy.

@@ModelJames13 OG Xbox games had a slight increase during the pandemic. The reason why they don't get much attention is that many OG Xbox games are very common at mom and pop gamestores,pawn shops,flea markets,ect. Many of the exclusives are either very cheap or pretty expensive.
And many of the non exclusive games (ie ports) while they are better on the OG Xbox in terms of graphics and extras. They are not very popular.
Because players prefer playing the games on the PS2 or Gamecube. Due to the PS2 being the preferred console with a better controller. ( especially for fighting game ports). Or the Gamecibe ports being uncommon or rare. So the values of the PS2 and Gamecube ports are higher.
Wet definitely doesn't deserve that price, it looks cool but the combat gets repetitive and stale just like stranglehold. They want to be like Max Payne but the way they flow it just feels like you're through the motions and gets boring.
I have played both and even max Payne was repetitive. But I liked wet better because not only did it have a killer soundtrack you were able to do more action moves. I like the story more in max Payne though but wet was a better game in my opinion.
Alan wake will be worth money now that remedy sucks and is anti consumer, no more physical for anymore of their games.

Bought Blue Dragon for just $5.49 on Xbox one the game plays like trash and I bought lost Odyssey that ones boring you want role playing games start with dragon quest X1 don’t go backwards buy final fantasy lighting returns go buy real games what your not even saying to buy before store closes is what only in the Xbox 360 store which is very strange cause their digital only you can’t get them anywhere physical that you’ll have to search for yourself there are to many the physical you break it or crack it you can’t get a replacement but digital nothing to worry about and when you buy on the 360 it doesn’t matter what account your using or if you deleted your accounts the games still play you lurched that PlayStation Nintendo steak just don’t do
Respectively my friend I disagree on pretty much everything you’re saying lol. More recent does not always mean better. And owning something digital means you own it until the company decides you don’t. I have been playing games for 36 years. Never had a disc break on me mate.
@@LukesGamerRoom oh when it comes to Xbox 360 games they are yours friend if Microsoft refunds you for any Xbox 360 games they can’t take it away from you you just get refunded the same with Xbox live gold once you claim the games their yours to keep what’s not yours is the Xbox one games they can take the license away from you anytime I just bought 2 games that are only in the Xbox 360 store I got my money back they still belong to me I’m looking at the games that scalpers are selling for a lot of money and buying them digital from the 360 instead of you have sealed games that comes with DLC better open them and redeem the codes right away as I said blue dragon is boring it went on sale for $5.00 is the reason I bought it if your buying blue dragon physical for to collect it that’s a waste of money you buy what plays good
