      shoots like a dream, its the trigger that is absolutely awful on these. SMG put a top notch barrel in but the design of the gun prevents the trigger from being anything short of garbage! You can actually "pre-set" the trigger... if you gently pull it, you can get the sear to creep until its ready to break... then its like having a hair trigger!

    • @smorrow
      @smorrow Před 2 lety +2

      Yeah, when it really shouldn't be. People say the FG system is "open-bolt in full-auto and closed-bolt in semi-", and without further thinking about it assume its closed bolt works the same way as the normal, hammer-fired kind, which it doesn't. The way it works, it should exhibit mass-lurch like an open-bolt gun.

      On a serious note, one of the biggest things stopping the making of a VSS replica, is not governments, but rather a community that favours conformity. I’m Australian and I want to build a M16A2 based on ADF recommendations, but when I go to any AR-15 community and ask for recommendations, all I get is abuse and saying to get the bog standard gamer gun. After seeing the riot shield in the first video (Karl shooting) I made one for our IPSC match last Sunday. Hats off to Ian, that is NOT an easy way to shoot a pistol! And yes, I think we all ended up canting the pistol fairly severely! Great idea... everyone loved it. thanks for the inspiration. I do NOT think introducing a kettlebell would be QUITE as popular!

      Ahh for us living in India the prices of ammo over in the states is a dream ...around these parts even the .32 acp is over a dollar per round, 9mm is prohibited by law so a lot of people purchase through less than legal channels and 9mm rounds go for about 300 rupees or just over 4 dollars a round.

    • @Ponen77
      @Ponen77 Před 4 lety

      @@williamkeith8944 yes indeed but that's the state of our firearms laws, just recently they amended the firearms act ...they reduced the number of firearms an individual can own from 3 to 2, initially they were trying to reduce it to one but there was a lot of pushback, but since the current Modi govt has a tendency to push trough unpopular decrees(think demonetization or the recent citizenship act that has led to mass protests and riots) with little heed for the general public there was not much that the public could do. The stated reasons is that due to proliferation of use of illegal firearms by criminals, insurgents and militants they are updating the laws with more stringent punishments. So legal firearms owners are being punished for the actions of illegal firearms owners many of whom are buying straight off the black market. The sad fact is, the Indian Arms Act of 1959 was a replacement of the Arms Act 1878 which was put in place by the British Raj to ensure that the native Indian population would be unable to arm themselves and revolt like they did in the 1857 revolt. It was a means to suppress the people and to this day the Indian govt maintains it.

    seem very large , but the goal is to protect the head of snow fall , in winter they put white cover on beret. classic size used by " Regiment de Chasseurs " troops
    badge "Chasseur " on left side is an uncorrect position !!! all French regiments have badge on the right side ( 1 exception for Commando Marine , put badge on Left side on green beret since 1944 by tradition and respect ,formed in England Royal Marines camp WW2)
