    A+ thumbnail. I hate shorts, but still watched this before the main video, entirely out of sympathy for this little guy's plight.

    What type of liquid did you pour in to make the replica?

    I used release spray when I made a two-part cast of my clay project. But now the clay piece is so sticky from the release spray and I haven't figured out what to use to wash it off

    Can you make a silicone mold, to then pour silicone in? I have a silicone item that is no longer made that I'm desperate to make more of before they are gone for good! Help!

      Yes you can, but you have to use a mold release or the silicone you pour will stick to the silicone mold.

    Is the mold reusable? Or will a new one have to be created each time

    • @kevinwarner959
      @kevinwarner959 Před 7 měsíci +1

      Yes, silicone molds is reusable for many castings. However; some silicones get destroyed by certain chemicals after a few castings.

      This channel has numerous videos involving both consumer 3d printing technologies, as well as a breakdown of why you use casting vs printing

      I love 3D priniting. Resin more than filament.
