I'm using a portable uvc sterilizer. In the sterilizer, the light only emits in the forward direction. Can it be harmful to me if the light is reflected when I sterilize things with this?
Yes it can be. If you have to hold it, I’d return it.

I'm hoping soon in the future there will be a UV C laser diode for laser pointers and laser sanitizers and ve able to put woods glass filters on the or play with in a lab.

When you use it uvc ozon lamp in room 30min how long you wait to enter room and open windows, how long you keep open windows ventilation?
1-2 hours but I would wait atleast 4 hours. Disclaimer - I’m not an expert so I would do more research, but what I’ve found is high concentrated ozone should wait 4 hours.

I work doing (NDT) non destructive testing and in order to perform certain operations we use UV lights around 265-345nm, I add fluorescent penetrant on the parts I’m inspecting and proceed to wash/rinse them under the UV lights. I spend about 6-8 hours daily doing this.
Can this exposure be harmful to me? My face is literally exposed, I mostly get my hands exposed even though I do wear PPE gloves etc…
Recently I started experiencing itchiness and a tingly feeling in my hands and forearms the two areas I get exposed to the most.
YES! Long and close exposure to UV light is very dangerous, especially in that lower wavelength.
What's up BL ninja! I want to paint my rc plane and use led strips on the wings to illuminate. Any suggestions?
@Dan MRFLD hows it! I prefer wildfire uv visible paint and any 395 uv led strip should work. Most of the strips are pretty much the same, just check the reviews first! I’m assuming this is for nighttime flying?

Ayşegül Ayşegül if you do decide the wand, just make sure you do research. If UVC does come out of it, I wouldn’t be near it. Enclose it while its on.

I think there is no real UVC LED product available in the market. All germicidal LED bulbs you can find in the market are fake. UVC LED is very expensive, about 45 dollars for a single LED
