Legendary BUN CHA! Anthony Bourdain and Obama Ate Here!! Hanoi Food Tour 🇻🇳

HANOI, Vietnam - Before leaving the country, I had to get the bowl of bun cha that Anthony Bourdain and Barack Obama made famous. It's only right. In part 2 of my Hanoi Food Adventures, I visit the exact shop they went to and it was as delicious as I had hoped. It's sad to leave Vietnam, but I'll be back!

Inspiration from Anthony Bourdain is never a bad thing. I like how he showed us the positive culture/society of many countries that the West denigrates or look down or ignore for so long. As for Hanoi, I like how it is quite unique from other large SE Asian cities that look so Westernized. I love the tree lined roads, the mix of old French and Chinese and Vietnamese architecture, with its lakes and parks. Thanks for the video.

Bun Cha is my favorite noodle dish from Vietnam. Had some bun cha in Saigon, but need to get some from Hanoi, since the noodle dish originated from there. Definitely need to get back to Vietnam to shoot.
