Great flight review of the great looking CRJ900.
Admittedly I hate the CRJ range of aircraft but this looked like a halfway decent flight, especially with the seat back ife. Don’t know if I could do a 4 hour hop though. Excellent trip report and thanks for sharing
Thank you! Yeah 4 hours is pushing it, but not too bad. Definitely better than the CRJ-200 :)
Looks like a portion of that left slat had been replaced.
That sounded like an amazing flight! I feel like in the future they should do this flight on like a 737MAX or maybe an A220! A 4 hour flight on a regional jet sounds cool but weird at the same time. Amazing trip report! 😅🎉
Yeah I wasn't sure at first being on a small plane for that long. Hopefully they do open it up to a bigger aircraft. Thanks for watching! :)
@@GenkisTravels no problem
Great vid Genki, the Air Canada Crappy Regional Jet actually looked surprisingly comfortable, wouldn’t mind trying it one day for a short hop
Yeah I was surprised how I didn't feel so crammed in there. a 4 hour journey does take its toll tho :) Thanks for watching!
@@GenkisTravels i would prefer it anyday over a 737 or A320, even on a 4-hour flight
Awesome golden video, great job on the filming and extremely excellent quality!! KEEP UP YOUR GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
@@GenkisTravels got new video :)
Terrific video clip! Would have liked to see more of the cabin. Maybe on the return flight? ?)
Ah sorry about that, yeah completely forgot to film more from the cabin. Sadly I flew AC one way. Maybe one day :) Thanks for watching!
Looked like an enjoyable travel day. I just flew this type of aircraft in business class last week on a domestic flight!
AC made a new creative safety video, I guess it didn't trickle down to the CRJs quite yet. The audio sounded like the old versions.
P.S. I didn't hear any accent! Hehe.
I regret not booking Business Class on this flight, definitely wanted to try it. I assure you, there was an accent :D lol thanks to watching!
2:12 The screens are also available on Air Canada Express Embraer 175 SU Aircrafts. Here's the safety video I recorded on that aircraft: czcams.com/video/3461TQ45RiU/video.html
Good video but btw model design can’t be changed the 700 is smaller aircraft the 900 is longer
Now known as a Mitsubishi 900!
Yes it is!
Actually those gates at YUL are for U.S. flights...not "domestic". Great video! 👍
Rwy 15L? Nope...looks like it was 15R!
great video. Is air canada strict with 23kg baggage weight or they will let you 1-2kg over. How is the customer service
Customer service was good, I had no issues really. As for the baggage weight, with my gold status, it never became an issue so I can’t for sure say if they’re strict about it.
I was supposed to fly this aircraft on June 22 from YYZ to BOS, but 2 days after I booked this flight, the aircraft was changed to an Embraer 175 SU
I hate when they change aircraft, especially when it's a nice aircraft. lol
@@GenkisTravels I know, United always does the same thing as well! In January, I booked a United Flight from SFO to HNL, and the aircraft was shown as Boeing 757-300 after I booked that flight. But a week later, the aircraft was changed to a Boeing 777-200ER. But that's a good thing because I get to upgrade my class from Basic Economy to Premium Plus, and Premium Plus was better and more comfortable than Basic economy. Here's my flight report for the Premium Plus Trip from SFO to HNL: czcams.com/video/xThEdlWJRTI/video.html
I flew on UA Toronto to Houston return on an Embraer several months ago. The terminal at Pearson is an embarrassment for Toronto as a world class city. The entry doors wouldn’t open due to very cold temperatures outside. Every set of doors had a sign to try the next set. After 3 sets I had to force open the door with my body holding it with my back while getting my luggage inside. A woman of 73. Anyway…back to UA. Business class. A total nightmare. The flight is much longer on this plane. It was old and the absolute worst I’ve ever been in. Business was seated last after literally everyone else. No space left for carry on luggage. Food was terrible. Attendant service on the way back was almost non existent. Absolutely never again. Going to Houston again soon and the thought of a last minute switch to an Embraer is making me think twice about going at all. To top it off, when I arrived at my window seat on the flight back a woman in the aisle seat said, “Oh. Are you sitting here?” then asked if I’d switch with her husband who was several rows back. Back in Toronto, checked luggage took an overly long time to arrive on the carousel. “Priority” luggage came through after most other luggage. Definitely not worth paying for more than an economy ticket on this flight.
Air Canada Express is fly to Houston with the Embraer E170 this year not with the CRJ-900
This was taken last year. Thanks for watching!
Me personally I think using a CRJ for an almost 1600 flight from Texas to Canada is ridiculous.
It is a bit extreme. An E175 would have been more comfortable for sure. Lol thanks for watching!
@@GenkisTravels It is. They used to have Air Canada Express CRJ's going from Houtson to Calgary. This is an 1800 mile route.
But yes. At least an E175 would me much more suitable
