- The only known live film of The Tea Set playing at Dingwall's in London's Camden Lock on Friday 19th of September 1980. This was in the middle of our busiest time as a band. We had just finished a major UK tour supporting The Stranglers and were about to go back out on tour a month later with The Skids, so in between we played 3 of London's best known Clubs, The Hope and Anchor, The Music Machine and this one at Dingwall's. We then went back to our home town of St.Albans and played the College of Further Education
(although we considered ourselves more of a Watford band because myself, Ron and Cally went to Watford Art School). After the first leg of the Skids tour we went into Paul McCartney's Studio, Parkgates, in Battle, near Hastings, with Producer Steve James to record our first album 'After Dinner Music' We were testing songs with audiences to see which ones went over best live, so we could narrow it down to 8 for recording.
